The Lady on reception both days we were there was fabulous ,Friendly and very helpful and sorted an issue we had within seconds. Had food both nights and everything was well worth the money

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, apart from the restaurant, good food but absolutely freezing, umpteen people going to rooms for jackets or jumpers. Friendly staff and would definitely stay again

Stayed here previously in 2015 but under a previous name. Enjoyable stay, big spacious room, large bathroom and comfortable bed. Friendly attentive staff, meals were tasty, breakfast had plenty of choices . Good road links to Dundee and Perth

Hotel was a little tired looking, meal was ok but the menu wasn’t very extensive and the service was shockingly slow. The pool was out of action for our stay which was disappointing as that was the main reason for booking this hotel.

Nice bedroom nice staff dissatisfied with the pool being very cloudy water , no jacuzzi, sauna was closed ,out of order , , prices in the restaurant meals over priced. Don't think I will return

Stayed overnight here booking through myhotelbreak.com. The hotel was spotless, staff very friendly, food was amazing! Great value for money. Enjoyed relaxing in the spa and also getting a free upgrade to a king deluxe was lovely to chill having drinks and watching films. Definitely be back! Rooms very spacious all so modern and clean. Gardens beautiful too!

Our stay was very pleasant. The room had a lovely large king sized bed which was very comfy. I was expecting bath robes and slippers as I thought it stated that in the info but there were none in the room, so I could have been mistaken. Breakfast was good but things ran out (croissants, teaspoons, etc) and some were not replaced whilst we were in the dining room. For the price I expected a wee bit more but this was a Christmas present to us so I can't really complain, although I did pay an extra £30 on top to get the king size superior room. Overall, a lovely hotel in beautiful grounds, but there were just a few things that I was a bit disappointed about - e.g. not a lot of toiletries in the room, only 1 wee shower gel for 2 people - good job I brought more of my own. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Lovely break I feel rested. Beautiful hotel grounds, the rooms were spotless, staff very friendly and the breakfast had a good selection. Downside, I chose this hotel for the swimming pool and spa facilities. Not worth the trouble. Adults only after 7pm (useless) swimming lessons for babies all crying and screaming on the Sunday morning up until 3pm, thought I was in hell! Not the poolside relaxation I had hoped. This pool and leisure facility is open to the general public, so I wouldn’t book a spa trip break at this hotel until they change their policy to residents only!

Hotel room a bit tired in some places and carpet stained we stayed in a superior room but no couch one seat with stain on it , no bottles of water in room . Room very warm even with heating off . Didn’t feel like a superior room fine for one night stay .

The hotel room was great, lovely big bath & separate shower, nice comfortable sofa and coffee table to read the morning paper, huge bed. Our evening meal was very good as was breakfast in the morning and service was great. Never used the pool but it was always busy so obviously very welcoming.

This is not a 4 star hotel! Our room was far from 4 star standard, toilet roll holder fell off the wall, towel rail was hanging off the wall, dust upon every surface, curtains were filthy & holes in near every wall! Food service was very slow but there was a Xmas party going on! The food was good , breakfast probably the best I've had in a hotel in a long time! We were promised a small refund but never received it

Overall it was a pleasant stay, but couple of downfalls. First o we were expecting bathrobes and slippers,but none were in the room when we arrived. We asked at the reception for those to be provided, but there was none available. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice, all nice and tasty. At the checkout the lady informed me that I need to settle the bill for our stay, which was a huge surprise as we had paid when checking in thenight before. Even we we showed her the payment on the mobile banking app, she was still convinced we haven't paid, which was quite unpleasant. We had to wait for another member of staff to go through all the card receipts from the night before, to check for ours. Eventually it was found, but it left a bit of unpleasant feeling as I was being made to feel like a .

On arrival, the staff on the main desk seemed very friendly, it was a smooth check in, everything was explained in detail and the lady was so nice, brought our wine to the room in time specified, the room was clean and tidy, we got settled and went to the pool area and it was really good, our main meal was fantastic and the food was cooked thoroughly and fresh, the staff were also friendly in the restaurant area, we had no issues at all and we will definitely be back
