Auchrannie Resort, Brodick, Isle of Arran

Excellent family friendly resort. We stayed for two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Dinner and breakfast in Cruize were excellent, with super service. We enjoyed the facilities including the leisure pool, gym and games room. We also booked archery and basketball which were good value for money and kept our 10 year old entertained! The executive rooms were excellent for us, with a separate bunk room for the kids and plenty of lights and sockets (very important for our teen). The Arran Arromatics toiletries in the bathroom were a particularly nice touch. One thing that really stood out at Auchrannie were the staff - everyone was genuinely pleasant and seemed to enjoy working there, which really makes all the difference in terms of service. We will return for longer next time!

Auchrannie is miles above other properties. Good for adults kids and dogs too. I have stayed in the lodges, retreats and spa rooms, all are fabulous.

We stayed in the couples retreat , unfortunately we were unable to use the hot bath which we were looking forward to. Hopefully next time . Retreat was lovely although draftee , it was a terrible weekend though. All in all we still enjoyed it though.

Fantastic 3 days at the Auchrannie. Staff were amazing and service second to none. Hotel felt safe and clean. We were very lucky with the weather, sunny and warm every day. Would definitely recommend. Only down side was the pool and spa were closed due to Covid-19 rules but this was to be expected. Hotel following government guidelines.

Fab resort fab staff. This is my fourth visit to Auchrannie and it never fails. The standard double rooms are large with small fridge & tea making facilities. The leisure centres in both Spa resort & the Hotel are good size and spotless. This really is child & dog friendly (neither of which I had with me). Also great for couples. Defo recommend it. Look forward to visiting again

Great deal from my hotel break. Had a lovely overnight stay and excellent meal in 1869 Scottish tapas restaurant. Breakfast was superb!

Excellent hotel, room was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and spacious. The bathroom was faultless and stocked with lovely Arran toiletries . The food and service were excellent.

The Auchrannie did not meet our expectations....the bedroom was tastefully decorated but the bed was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable! No bath...only shower available. Dining in hotel Brambles was very expensive for what you get. When dining in the Cruz restaurant we waited over an hour for main course which was disappointing and spoiled our evening. We booked into Aspa for spa treatments...which was first class treatment from start to finish! we found some of the hotel staff not as hospitable as they should be according to the hotel rating. Overall this was a highly overrated and expensive experience.

Hotel has an excellent location for touring Arran. The rooms are well equipped. Staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. We ate in Brambles Restaurant which has an extensive menu and the food is of a very high standard. Throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone

Myself and five friends stayed at Auchrannie on 29th October, to make use of the B&B special rate and spa reduction voucher. I can only describe our experience as Excellent from start to finish - our receiptionist, Kinga, was wonderfully friendly and helpful - I had asked for a "dog free" room for one of our party, but this had been overlooked, but Kinga and the front office team managed to arrange one without any fuss. We had lunch and dinner in Cruize and everyone raved about the quality. Four of us had treatments at the spa, again to high acclaim, and the pool area was well used too !!. We are already planning our next visit.... can't wait !

Disappointed with hotel. House needs a bit of an update looking tired. Food was not good. Couldn't eat my main meal. Had to wait 45 minutes for breakfast on first morning. Second breakfast was very greasy. This was in Brambles. Tried cruise wasn't much better. Won't be returning to Auchrannie.
