Excellent service. Reception staff are .extremely helpful especially the dark hair woman who was their during our stay. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere and warm welcoming. We have stayed here a few times and definitely will return.

We very much enjoyed our overnight stay at the Castlecary. We were welcomed by a very nice receptionist who had phoned us previously to enquire as to which wine we preferred in our room. We were allocated a lovely room (282) which had everything we needed to compliment our stay. The evening meal was excellent as was the breakfast the following morning. All staff we met were friendly and welcoming, we are delighted to recommend the hotel to potential visitors and have already booked a return visit which we look forward to.

Well what can I say what a fantastic stay . Staff very nice nothing was a bother.The rooms very roomy and comfortable.Food amazing and well presented the girls in the restaurant Bar where so helpful and funny with it. Definitely be back.

Front of house nice and modern compared to the bedrooms. Shower stiff to turn and soaked the bathroom. Beds comfortable and nice large rooms. Service very friendly. Dinner and breakfast both very good.

Hotel was tremendous from start to finish, The staff couldn't be more helpful, Room was clean spacious and had everything needed for out stay, the deal we had was superb value for money the food was lovely .The girl at dinner went above and beyond for us didn't catch her name had blonde hair and looked like the manager she looked after us all night, breakfast was very good aswell a good selection of cereal toast pastries fruit etc the cooked breakfast was great aswell we will definitely be back for another stay 5 stars from us.

Stayed one night. Lovely hotel , great bar/ resturant area. Food was great, especially my steak pie. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Rooms large and clean, if bathrooms a bit dated. Excellent one night stay. Hotel easy to reach from motorway

Had another lovely stay here, staff very friendly and food tasty. This time the room was a little bit more dated than previous stays. However still enjoyed a comfortable night and slept very well. Good value for money.

Enjoyed our stay here, we had booked the DBB deal. Reception, servers & housekeeping staff are a credit to the hotel. So professional and we received a warm welcome from them all. Our room was massive. It smelt so fresh & clean when as we entered it. Although the decor was a touch outdated it was very comfortable. The standard of the food was high. Was impressed by both our three course dinner and breakfast. Sticky toffee pudding was particularly good and portion sizes are generous. Would 100% return to Castlecary hotel.

Lovely hotel. Staff couldn't be friendlier and food was amazing with huge portions. We were so full after our mains that we weren't going to have pudding but they gave us some to take back to our room for later. Rooms a little dated but they are starting to rennovate them so can't complain.
