Not a child friendly hotel, refused entry to bar which is part of the hotel as we weren't eating in there. bar staff very rude waited nearly half an hour to be served a drink as they were seeing to the drinks in the function area male bar staff didn't even have the manners to say they would be serving you shortly they just kept blanking everyone standing at the bar. Staff didn't seem to know about the menus when on the DB&B tariff advised the first night if we wanted to eat off the other menu we would be charged £26.50 however 2nd night they advised we only needed to pay the difference between the 2 menus which was only £7. Very chaotic at times. Would not recommend this hotel for young children .

Just returned from The Winnock Hotel in Drymen which we booked through your site and the total cost advised was £178 for 2 nights DB&B for 2 adults and 1 child. When we went to check out the hotel advised the cost was £198 rather than the £178 when we booked. They said we were booked for 2 children at £10 per child per night then it was another £178 for me and my partner. It was quite clear we only had one child with us however it was very awkward trying to sort it out especially as the reception area was very busy. The hotel finally agreed to waive the extra £20 cost but we should not of been in this situation in the first place.

Visted the Winnock from 8-11th March for my boyfriends birthday was his 1st time at The Winnock he loved it. Staff was amazing, so helpful and friendly. Room was excellent and cleaned every day. The 3 course meal every night was 1st class and had different menu every night. Had Scottish Theme and a piper piping in the Haggis which was a nice Traditional feel to it. Staff males work Tartan kilts and females wore tartan ties which i thought was nice touch. I would definetly recomend this hotel to anyone visiting Loch Lomond. The Hotel is a wee Gemm with lovely log fires to relax with a wee Dram. We will be back for my birthday in August then 5 days at Hogmany. I just wdnt stay at any other Hotel in Loch Lomond but The Winnock. 5*

delighted with the upgraded room (no 82) this made the overnight stay very special being able to sit on the balcony there were no staff to seat us in the morning I had to go and get someone from the desk, I found that poor.

Stayed for 2 nights dinner bed and breakfast which was a great deal. The staff are so friendly and the service we got was excellent for the whole of our stay. We chose to eat in the bar and the food was of a high standard and absolutely delicious. The rooms were comfortable and for the price we paid we were pleasantly surprised. There is also entertainment in the bar at weekends so u can relax after ur meal and have a wee dance. We will certainly b back again and would highly recommend this hotel if ur thinking of staying in drymen. Thanks for a most enjoyable stay x

The hotel room was superb room 8 was recently refurbished and was immaculate! .......however the meal on the Sunday night was awful....steak was greasy.....rushed meal as if there chef had threw it together ......the breakfast was ok nothing to write home about.....if it was not for the staff and the room we would have left would not stay again.....I would rather stay at the bucanan. Arms instead of he Winnock.....We did complain to the receptionist all she could offer was an apology!

Absolutely fantastic! Receptionists very welcoming. Room excellent,clean,tidy,modern and well equipped. Lounge area very atmospheric. Dinner menu was wholly comprehensive and well presented but breakfast was equally impressive with waited service......a dying art. All in all a wonderful experience and which I cannot praise too highly.
