Kings Manor Hotel, Edinburgh

Booked as a birthday weekend which the hotel was not aware of but on arrival we asked if they could bring a cake out after our meal was finshed. This was not a problem and once we were in our rooms we received a card,chocolates and a desk calendar which was signed by the staff what a lovely touch. Would definately stay here again.

My wife and i stayed here on the 3 for 2 day break. The hotel was top class,the food in lauders restaurant was faultless,the staff were always cheerful. We also used the hotel pool which we thoroughly enjoyed. We never used the car at all,bus stop outside the hotel both ways into the city centre (a 10 minute journey) We paid the little extra for an upgrade and it was well worth it, the room was large and the bed was the best we've slept in in a hotel. all in all we highly recommend Kings Manor hotel

First class service from arrival to departure, rooms were large modern looking and recently refurbished to a good standard. Leisure facilities were excellent.Breakfast was also excellent with a wide variety of cereals and fresh fruit along with a cooked breakfast. We eat in the bistro one night and the quality if the food was good but not to everyone's liking.

Once again, a most enjoyable stay here. The staff are the best we have ever encountered in any hotel; the rooms and food are also superb. Cannot fault it at all.

Very easy to find and plenty parking spaces available. Upon arrival we where told the room had been upgraded which was an expected bonus. All staff where friendly and efficient, room was clean and with the upgrade very spacious. The meals where filling at both dinner time and breakfast. At the price we paid I sold definately go back.

stayed at this hotel on 21/12/13 for a shopping break at the Christmas markets in Edinburgh.On arrival we found the brochure photographs didn't do this hotel justice. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The hotel also has a lovely pool /spa area ,comfy bar and restaurant . We were only booked in for b&b but after seeing the restaurant we wish we had gone for dinner as well.All in all a great place to stay with bus stops outside the door offering a 15 min service into the heart of the city we will definitely be back !

We had a free upgrade to a club room with lots of space and comfortable beds. During the cold spell we got an additional heater in the room- no bother. Very good swimming/ sauna area with welcoming and helpful staff. A brilliant hotel when visiting Edinburgh..with lots of extras.

Hi just back from Kings Manor Hotel after our second stay and found it a really nice hotel and spa. Everyone we dealt with was very helpful. Room was lovely and warm. No complaints and we will go back again.

Was disappointed we could not have our dinner in the dining room as it was full with party night meals which at this time of year is to be expected, Bistro food was fine but not a great choice.

Excellent stay - superior room well worth the small extra payment. Good selection and good quality in the Bistro. Service excellent in all areas. Good bus links to city centre for both shopping in Princes Street and the Playhouse Theatre.

The Kings Manor is a comfortable hotel with excellent facilities. Staff are very helpful and a good choice of food options. We were given a Club room which was spacious and modern. Good transport to City Center.

Lovely hotel convenient for coast and city.Were upgraded to a club room which was superb. Leisure club has a huge pool but could do with a few more chairs and loungers around the pool. Staff could not be more helpful. Good choice at breakfast.The food in the bistro was good with ample portions.Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.
