Royal Highland Hotel, Inverness

Room was great & immaculate. Suisor in breakfast room was wonderful. Restaurant staff need more training as there appeared to be discontent among staff with a fair bit of squabbling going on during service with one or two staff members. Staff at reception were fine but didn't go out of their way to assist. Spoke with maid in corridor who was extremely pleasant. Overall a great stay

The rooms were nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were good quality, fresh, and generous portions. The service really let this hotel down. Breakfast staff were friendly and attentive, but restaurant staff and reception staff were not very friendly or helpful. We ordered a bottle of wine with dinner and it was just placed on the table, unopened. Not what we would expect in a hotel.

Excellent value, comfortable room, pleasant staff and very nice breakfast. Did not eat in Ash as some staff there were quite rude on a previous visit.

Issues from check-in, although to be fair due to My hotel break.com and not the hotel. Television didn't work reported it and was told maintenance would look at it, needed to report it again when checking out. Damp smell in bathroom.

Good hotel but foid and drink quite pricey. Location is excellent, right next to train station. Expelair in bathroom not working so was very hot and ceiling mouldy. Did report this but because of the build up if mould its obviously been like that for sime time.

This is my second time at the Royal Highland Hotel, had a fantastic 2night break, We stayed in room 321, was spacious and comfortable, bathroom was spaiious with toiletress, breakfast has a very good selection rangeing from cereal, fruit to a full cooked breakfast well stocked , Had meal in Ash resturant on the Friday evening "supereb", all staff where friendly and polite, will definitly be back in the near future,

We go to this hotel at least twice a year book through classic Britain holidays bit disappointed once again specially asked for not a room above train station and what did they do gave us one above train station had to get changed always have to get something sorted each visit starting to put us off a bit .

Very disappointed by hotel.com as the royal highland was unaware of the booking made by you or the offers made by yourselves or the offers made by yourslves i.e bottle of wine ect. and was only resolved by myself printing out booking form and showing it and after a while it was resolved by getting last room available.

On arrival we were well looked after any got to our room quickly, good accommodation with the service excellent and the food deals are excellent value and quality. Had a brilliant weekend celebrating our anniversary thanks to the Hotel.

My mum and I had a lovely break at the hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was tasty and the rooms comfortable. We stay at this hotel whenever we visit Inverness as it's close to the train station and the shops.

Had a most enjoyable stay at your hotel last week. The bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable and roomy. The staff was very helpful both at breakfast and in the dining room. Will definitely b returning and recommending this hotel to others.

Enjoyed our 3 nights very much. Had a large comfortable room at side of hotel which overlooked outside buckets. Did have a bit of noise with bottles etc being emptied late evening but not really a problem. Breakfast plentiful though bacon all 3 mornings cold. Evening meal very good & very attentive staff. Have been many times to Royal Highland Hotel & will be again as perfect for station & city centre

Lovely hotel in a good location, staff very helpful and friendly. Our dog also got a warm welcome. Highly recommend this hotel for location and all round satisfaction. See you next week for a couple of nights.

We up graded to a superior room and it was huge. A little TLC required in the bathroom as ceiling paint was coming off. Apart from that the room was always warm and welcoming
