A very nice 4 day break. Very easy to find on the main road into Mold, and plenty of free parking in the grounds. The hotel itself neeeds some updating in terms of decor and maintenance but this is not detrimental to the overall enjoyment of the break. Particularly liked the upper lounge adjacent to the first floor bedrooms away from the hotel public rooms which is handy for reading quietly. The service in every part of the hotel was very good indeed from checking in to checking out. A smile and greeting from everyone on the staff. The menus offer a good variety of choice and the food is freshly cooked, uses local produce and is nicely presented. Very good value for money. Would stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beaufort Park Hotel, we had a huge luxurious room with a very modern big bathroom. Service was prompt and professional. We stayed for an evening meal on the saturday and that was lovely, we had a singer as entertainment which we didn't expect so that was an added bonus! Mold as a town didn't have much to offer us (being a younger couple) but the location was ideal for a visit to Chester 15 mins drive, and other locations in Wales. I would recommend this hotel to future guests.

the room was comfortable and nicely decorated but dark, lighting was inadequate. food was mediocre and the orchard restaurant shown on the hotel's website has stopped serving evening meals so there was no option but to have the bar style meals- disappointing. also no lift to 1st floor where the bedrooms are.

We stayed here 26/28 July 2012. The hotel well worth a visit. The food and wine. Though quite limited in selection were of a very good standard. My particular favourite was the lamb shank with a nice bottle of Malbec. Two niggles however. Firstly, large wedding parties tend to take over the bar/restaurant and are always loitering round the main door of the hotel smoking. Not pleasant. There should be a smoking shelter situated away from the front of the hotel. Secondly. It is a legal requirement for all portable electrical items, table lamps, televisions, kettles, irons, to be PAT tested every 12 months. For safety reasons and insurance purposes. Every item in our room was last PAT tested in July 2010. I am sure not just our room was such. Very worrying.

A really lovely ,thriving hotel...comfortable friendly and well desiged so allow entertainment or quiet times as prefered. We used the Archers bar for breakfast lunch and tea, the food was excellent , prices reasonable and service very good. After busy days touring it was very nice not to have to go searching locally for food. Room was a little old fashioned, buut very comfortable with plenty of storage. One critisism for the whole stay was the grouting in the shower area was black, and whilst im sure very clean looked offensive and was very offputting. For full marks we suggest it is sorted out !

Enjoyed our stay, good value for money. Hotel ok could do with updating a little. Rooms were good, large (plenty of space for the kids) and very clean. Reception and bar staff very helpful, evening meal ok, food at breakast was very nice. Would stay again. Ideal for exploring Chester or North east Wales.

We chose this hotel from a list in an Activity Superstore package because we wanted to visit Chester and it is just over the border in North Wales so we thought we'd have the best of both worlds. The hotel was good and a popular place for people to stop over on their way to somewhere else, what my husband described as a good 'cross-roads' hotel. Our standard room was very clean, quite spacious with a large bed, though the mattress at my side was showing signs of sagging and the pillows weren't very comfy. We were on a quiet side of the hotel overlooking a grassed area and trees which meant we could sleep with the windows open. There was a good size flat-screen TV on the wall. The bathroom was average-sized by hotel standards but had a bath as well as a shower, which for me is always a bonus. We were booked on a room-only basis and we didn't eat in the hotel though The Arches cafe/bar was attached to the hotel and had a comprehensive menu with reasonably priced meals had we wanted them. There was a quiz night in the bar on Sunday evening, which was quite good fun and well attended. We spent most of our two days' stay in Chester and used local transport to get there. The journey took approx. 50 minutes. On our last day we walked into nearby Mold, which took half an hour, but in my opinion there is nothing exciting about the place. Maybe it's a bit more vibrant on market days. We probably wouldn't stay at this hotel again, not because of the hotel, more of its location. If we visit Chester again we would look for something more central.

Some of the hotel rooms seem to be in better order than others, and we were in the poorer side of the hotel, It was advertised with WIFI, which was essential for us, that access was not available, reception said it was a BT problem. I ordered newspapers over both days, but only received on one day. The TV in our room had poor reception and was unwatchable. The hotel in general looks rather dated, the evening meal was reasonable however.. I wouldnt stop here again.
