Having previously stayed in this hotel I was most disappointed on this occasion. I feel the standard of cleanliness had dropped quite significantly. My room was definitely not as clean as I would expect from a Hilton hotel infact I had to request they change my bedding when I arrived as it was stained and the pillow covered in someones hair!!!NOT ACCEPTABLE. Also the changing rooms, both male and female, in the pool were dirty again NOT ACCEPTABLE. I will not b returning to this hotel.

We have stayed at many hilton hotels and the dundee hilton is by far the friendliest. From beginning to end our stay was faultless with staff going out of their way to make our stay memorable. We were part of a party of sixteen celebrating an 80th birthday and found the hotel central for all attending.

Unfortunately my wife's mother's day night away was marred by a series of unfortunate issues. First issue was that we were checked into a bedroom overlooking the air condoning fans as we are both light sleepers we requested a room change. This was done immediately by the staff who were very helpful my only question would be why would this room be let before rooms that would have no issues in regards to noise and lack of view?. Issue number two was at midnight the radiator in our new room started to bang and clunk every ten seconds we put up with this for an hour then contacted the night staff who had us into another bedroom. Within ten minutes of our call. Once again very efficiently Handled by the staff. So after a very poor nights sleep we went down for breakfast which was excellent and as checkout was at eleven we returned to our room for a nap but that was not to be as the fire alarm went off and the hotel was evacuated. We then after the evacuation was over we decided to checkout asking to speak to a manager. The duty manager duly appeared and was very sympathetic to our issues and promised a phone call from senior management but to date no call has been made letting down both ourselves and the hard working staff Of the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful particularly at breakfast. There was a problem with the heating all of Monday which I do not think was addressed properly.

Within easy reach of Dundee, the Doubletree provided a very good standard of ambience and accommodation. The restaurant was particularly good and we can recommend this hotel for the value we achieved.

Unfortunately there had been a problem with the booking system at the Hilton that weekend. However, the staff there were most helpful in sorting out alternative accommodation for the first night of our stay. We then stayed at the Hilton for the second night. The room, accommodation and friendliness of the staff more than made up for the mishap with the booking. We have been offered a complimentary stay which we will take up in the future.

The hotel was very nice with helpful and friendly staff, however the service at mealtimes was very slow and only the very patient would accept this. There was not a menu of the day [as stated on your confirmation] you had to select the three course dinner included in the offer, your selections had to be made from the restaurant menu and it would be very difficult to select a three course meal from this menu if you wanted to stay within the allowance on the offer.

An enjoyable stay once again. This is the first stay we've taken since the hotel was taken over by Doubletree by Hilton and thankfully there were very few changes. The only downside was there was no set menu like before and the children's menu was poor in that there was no choice of starter or dessert for kids on the menu given. Some of the kids menu items were not taken off on checkout and I had to advise the receptionist that the booking made included dinner for the child as well. Also children cannot go into the pool after 7pm which left my son disappointed on one night. Other than that a good stay and I would definitely still return.
