Excellent staff. Nice bar and restaurant, good food- especially breakfast. Hotel dated in parts and could do with some upgrading but overall a very pleasant stay in a lovely part of the country. Excellent value and would have no hesitation in returning.

We spent 2 nights here and was very impressed with the staff , always abliging with a smile .It was nice for a change to go to a hotel and feel at home. THERE WAS ONLY ONE DOWNSIDE , PLEASE PLEASE PUT SOME OTHER BACKGROUND MUSIC ON IN THE BAR, , Ithink that whoever put the music on must be young , really they should see who is drinking in there and put on the music to the aprox age , What we had was morbid and forlorn Ie, james auther, it put a bit of a damper on the night , We actually went to our room at 10 pm , THE FOOD WAS LOVELY THE CLEANLINESS WAS VERY GOOD WOULD RECAMEND TO OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Bar prices for wine very high. £9.90 for two classes or £18 a bottle!! Bedrooms very small and mattresses hard. Could feel the springs. Not a hotel we would wish to return to.

My wife and I had a 1 night break at the Buckatree Hotel with wine and dinner and must say it was a very enjoyable stay. Staff were excellent and food was good with a decent choice to pick from. I don't think we stayed in a refurbished room as there were a few little niggles, i.e. wallpaper peeling off in places and a couple of damp patches behind the chairs in the room but this didn't detract from the overall stay. I would defineately go again.

The booking of this hotel was made very simple and was very efficient. The Buckatree is a delightful hotel in lovely grounds and even the rooms that overlook the car park have far reaching views of the beautiful countryside. All staff are very friendly and approachable and very helpful. All this adds up to an amiable and relaxing atmosphere. We had booked for dinner and breakfast and found the food very good. Although not extensive, there is enough on the evening menu to satisfy most tastes and it is cooked to a high standard. The buffet breakfast had everything that you could want for breakfast. The presentation and service was excellent. The standard room was very comfortable, being large with doors opening onto a balcony. All in all, I would recommend this hotel but I would rather keep it a secret, as we had a 2 for 1 deal which also made our stay excellent value. Dee Smart

A pleasant hotel with nice staff.........However, our two night stay was spoilt by the following problems:- Ordered Newspaper for the first morning, but was told all newspapers had gone when we went to collect it at reception. Ordered Newspaper for the next morning, but was told it wasn't put on the list ! Booked dinner for the earliest time available (7.45pm,) but was asked to eat in the bar as they had overbooked. At least three other couples had the same problem, and our orders for dinner were not taken until 9.15pm ! The offer of a free drink went someway towards making amends, but spoilt the evening plans.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely quiet location. Really comfortable bed and rooms decorated to a high standard. One downside, I could not get wifi in the room I was in.

Ideal location to explore or just relax. Unusual rooms in that there is a balcony overlooking either the gardens or the lake ideal for an evening drink before dinner

Well wot can I say about this trip? The break was lovely an peaceful but very stressful as well. We booked a buy 2 nights DBB get 3rd night BB free, but when checked in the young girl on reception charged us £99 more than it should of been the whole trip should of been £198 an we were charged £297 she took a swipe of my debt card wish froze £297 from our account so I went bk 2 reception 2 sort this out whish they were helpful an cancel the whole transaction an swiped my card again charging us the correct price of £198 but when I went on 2 my banking app my account was now showing we had gone ova drawn by £99 so I was not happy at all thus took days 2 sort out with my bank so this trip was not a gud 1 at all. I also got an electric shock of 1 of the plug sockets in our room wish I did report rite away but nothing was done about it the whole socket was faulty an loose on the wall other than that the room was nice food was fantastic as always. If u do book any of these deals plz check your recite when u get booked in coz if a mistake is made by this hotel it takes days 2 sort out so b carful people. Apart from all the drama we had a lovely stay at this hotel

Booked a few days away at the Bookatree hall hotel we have been here b4 an had a fab time no problems at all. But this time the stay wasn't as gud as last time on booking in the girl swiped my bank card an charged us £298 4 the 3 day when it should of been £198 so it had frozz my bank account an made me go ova drawn so absolutely night mear trying 2 get my £99 put back in2 my account an they still haven't done it rung my bank up 2 find out wot is going with this an now we have 2 wait 4 the money 2 drop bk in2 my bank wish could take up 2 7 days but we had a lovely lady called kimberley who works on reception she is doing her best 2 get this sorted 4 us Asap so carnt thank her enough she was so helpful from the start.hotel is beautiful an relaxing staff aer fab except general manager Wayne he was very aragent when he speaks 2 u so many b some people skills 4 him ha. And also had an electric shock of 1 of the sockets in the bed coz the plug socket is very faulty I did report 2 reception an I was very ashored some 1 will b there next day 2 fix it but still no 1 came an plug is still faulty an I did get an electronic shock up my fingers an arm. So not such a god time very dissapointed in this as has but me of coming again so a bit dissapointed really. So any 1 coming 2 the booker tree hotel always check your recit u are giving at check in coz they do make big misstakes if they don't look at your booking properly so my break has been completely spoilt by this an I'm fuming this. No point in asking 4 compensation coz u never get any were.so on an over all stay completly ruined . But think I would like 2 come bk here 4 a few days we stayed on a 2 night DBB with 1 night free bb so let's c wot happy with this probably nothing ha x

Once again we had a fabulous time at the Buckatree Hall Hotel which is located at the foot of The Wrekin, a tall hill with varying landscape that is accessible to most people of average fitness. People from all ages trav up the hill, some with dogs and buggies, some with sticks to help them up! The hill has an uncanny knack of making you feel you're at the top but when you get there, you have another hill top to climb! A welcome drink or hot snack in the bar soon helps you to recover. We have made it an annual event and haven't been disappointed. The staff are friendly and the dinner on the first night especially was exceptional, as is the value of the break away we always purchase through "myhotelbreak.com". We are already looking forward to our next visit and would thoroughly recommend the hotel for location, comfort and value!

Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds. Booked for weekend break. Local to Telford city centre. Staff friendly and helpful. Broad menu choice and hot breakfast included in our stay. Rooms adequate for our requirements, stocked with tea and coffee facil. Lovely balcony to access the outdoors. The restaurant was very quiet with an uneasy ambience, I would definitely recommend some background music.

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. Lovely hotel, beautiful surroundings and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Kindly upgraded us to the Penthouse Suite as a special treat for my fiancé birthday. A fantastic find which we would definitely recommend to others.
