Have stayed here a few times. Breakfast is lovely but alas found the dinner not so good. Plenty of lovely restaurants in St Andrews so would prefer to eat out next time. Lovely hotel though.

The remote control for the TV was generic & not the one for the TV, consequently it did not function as you would expect. Not what I would expect for a hotel of this standard.

We had a great stay at the Fairmont. Friendly staff all round. Clean, warm modern rooms. The bar food was reasonably priced and delicious. Cocktails fab and the buffet breakfast offered an excellent choice and was plentiful even though it was very busy. We can't wait to stay again.

Stay was fantastic, felt relaxed as soon as walked into the building. Staff could not be faulted were very attentive. Bedroom was spacious and had everything we needed although felt bathroom was in need of an upgrade. Entertainment provided at night made us decide to stay in the building instead of heading into town. Was slightly disappointed with pool area, advertised as spa but it was really more like a hotel pool as had children running around and throwing beach balls, not really a spa atmosphere. Spa rooms and treatments themselves were lovely though. Food in the main restaurant was fantastic thoroughly enjoyed it but would say table service was not 5 star. Overall a fantastic stay though.

Lovely hotel, great rooms and public areas, staff very friendly. We booked the taster menu which was excellent, used the sports bar which was relaxing, leisure facilites good, only dissapointment was the buffet breakfast, although there was plenty of choice it was cold and overcooked and we ate at a reasonably early time when it was quiet so no excuse. Wouldnt put me off staying again, treat yourself to the taster menu it was fabulous.

Travelled with friends and stayed for two nights bed and breakfast in a deluxe room overlooking the golf course. Had a wonderful time thanks to friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. Will definitely stay at the Fairmont again.

The usual high standards were present, from the warm greeting from Davie and Tam at the front door to the kind late check out the next afternoon. Food in The Squire was excellent and the staff throughout were very helpfull I will stay again soon.
