Our stay overall was enjoyable and would consider returning , the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the hotel location is stunning .However a little more attention to cleaning and maintenance would pay dividends , the shower in our room had black mould at the base that could easily have been cleaned off and several chairs in the dining area were in need of replacement , being torn or wobbly.

Worst stay ive ever had through classic Britain. Harassed all weekend by a group of swingers staying at hotel. Staff seemed more concerned with this group than any of their other guests.staff actually told us when we were booking dinner other than having our own choice when to eat. A total discrace and would like compansated as I spent over 500 pounds at that hotel.could not relax with my family at all

Bedroom was very spacious with a fantastic view over the water towards the mountains. Even althought the weather was bad the view was superb. The room was very comfortable and had individual heat controls that work - a big bonus in hotels nowadays. All staff were very friendly and helpful; from reception, dining room staff, bar staff and cleaners. Food was very good and a good selection considering the cost of the break. All in all a very good two night stay. Hopefully we will be back in the future. The only downside was the big puddles in the car park but the weather was vey bad. Better lighting in the car park could help.

We have just spent 4 nights in this hotel. The view from the bedrooms is stunning. Rooms are warm and clean, though now showing signs of age. The meals were varied and beautifully cooked. Only slight criticism is that we would have welcomed warm plates for the breakfast buffet.

This hotel is in a superb location with brilliant views but, while our room was spacious and comfortable, there are definite signs of refurbishment needed! The carpet was very badly stained in a number of areas and the bathroom decor was a bit "tatty". Staff were all very courteous & helpful, however, and were clearly trying to do the best they could for guests.

The setting of the hotel is fabulous and the leisure facilities are great.the food menu on the main door appeared to be an old one and it was a little disappointing to discover it was a different menu in the restaurant when another diner enquired if there was another menu he was told the menu at the door was ancient.our booking included a room upgrade to lochview, it was a lovely view.when i checked out i made a few comments which were as follows- there was a terrible black stAins on the carpet, stain on the curtain and the shower screen was dirty this information was to be handed to housekeeping

Breath taking views great location we had a wonderful weekend for my parents 50th wedding anniversary which was made extra special by the fabulous staff who were very attentive to our needs big thanks to Jamie, Dot and Richard we will definately be back soon for another visit. Just one little add in comment as my mum is disabled she could not use the bath/shower if would be worthwhile having a couple of rooms with walk in shower facilities

another nice and relaxing few days, staff brill as usual although run of their feet due to lack of staffing but they always give you a hundred per cent of their time. Its just a pity that the company would not spend some money on doing the furnishings up as it would make all the difference to the place

I have visited this hotel many times over the past 10 years and this will be the last. The hotel is badly in need of a renovation and the food quality is no better than school dinners, the cost per head for DBB must be minimal. ( it used to be one of the reasons we visited the hotel). Staff were pleasant, but not enough of them, rooms were clean and the views spectacular but I'm afraid even this is not enough to bring me back. Akkeron hotels please get your act together so I can return.

always good to stay at the Isles of Glencoe Hotel. Well looked after. Fantastic location. Stayed there a few times now. Looks as if some of the public areas are raedy for a refurb, but I'm sure that is in hand. Service very good. Bedroom was large and great views over the loch.

We had requested an accesdible room as I walk with a stick and a walk in shower makes life more comfortable. The room we were allocated was appaling. The carpet was dirty, no valances on beds and upholstery was dirty and torn as were the armchairs. The room had doors outside and were filthy! The bathroom was very grubby and looked like a second rate care home. Overall it was much less than I would expect of a 3 star hotel. When we asked to be moved, the manager obliged but, we had to move to a room upstairs and with an over the bath shower with no handrails. My greatest concern is that the accessible room was of a much lower standard than the room we were moved to. This implied to me that customers with a disability are thought less of and not treated equally to those who are more able bodied. Our next room was pleasant but, the bathroom was grubby. The food was dull but acceptable. The restaurant/ breakfast area was again grubby. Upholstery on chairs was dirty and torn and some chairs were wobbly to the point of being dangerous. I was very disappointed with this hotel and it fell very short of what I would expect from classic britain. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Enjoyed our stay the family room we booked was of a good standard and was spacious and clean and the view was superb. The pool was lovely but the rest of the hotel was in need of an update and the food was nothing special. This hotel could really be something special with the location it needs a bit of money spending on it to bring it up to the 3 stars it has been awarded.
