Buckatree Hall Hotel, Telford

The staff at Buckatree are a real credit to the hotel, many of them we remembered from our visit last year (and some remembered us!), they are polite and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We had evening meal at the hotel both nights of our stay and the food was delicious. Breakfast was self-serve with a good selection, and could only be improved with perhaps some fresh fruit. Our room was clean and warm, the bed was comfortable, the only negatives being a broken socket by the bed and a loose wall light. The hotel is in a great location for walking and cycling, it has great views and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and plenty of interesting places to visit. Excellent value!

Stayed for a themed Twixmas break. This was great value for money and included dinner, bed and breakfast and entertainment each evening. This was a break which we all enjoyed. The rooms we had were quite spacious and had nice views over the hotel grounds. The staff were friendly and helpful from the outset and service overall was very good. The hotel is well situated to be able to visit local attractions but is in a peaceful location.

Myself and my husband had a really lovely weekend at Buckatree Hall Hotel. The room was lovely although the bed was slightly tilted we were comfortable and warm. The food was delicious in the restaurant on both nights as was the breakfast both mornings! The staff were all great, helpful and pleasant especially in the restaurant on our 2nd night! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future.

The wine was not in our room when we arrived but we received it at the table. Our table was not ready for us so we went in the bar for a few minutes.They did not know about the offer in the dining room but reception did. The room was at the top with blinds so we had no view of the scenery. We found the stay comfortable otherwise.

Room very nice, fabulous view but a little tired - we found the beds quite hard. Overall service was very good, excellent in the bar and reception but a little slow in the restaurant, we waited over 25 minutes for a couple of poached eggs at breakfast. Food was also generally good, let down by frozen chips instead of handmade - when you are paying for a relatively expensive meal I think that real chips make a huge difference. Overall we had a lovely stay and would visit again.

What a lovely Hotel in a beautiful area. This is the second visit to The Buckatree and we absolutely love it. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the rooms are so pleasant and clean. There is free Wifi in the bedrooms also which is an added bonus. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly visit again. Thank you for a very pleasant and relaxing break.

2nd visit this month. Cannot fault the food, or staff, On arrival, the rooms were not as requested as I have walking difficulties, and 1st floor rooms were allocated.On explaining requirements to receptionist the problem was resolved and ground floor rooms were allocated.

My husband had to go to hospital so we never went phoned the hotel and they said we couldn't change the dates as we had booked with my hotel break we tried to change through you and you said we couldn't cancel or move the dates . This was a Christmas present from my husband which we have now lost we will never book through you again

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. From reception to checking out the staff couldn't have been more friendly. The Buffett breakfast was plentiful and tasty and meals in the resturant were nicely served and presented and delicious. Our room was not one of the best, but having said that, it was lovely and comfortable and booking on a deal it wasn't expected to be the best. The hotel had coach trips in so was quite busy but the staff were easily able to cope and there was no reflection on our stay, we were attended to perfectly well. Good value for money. 10/10 If we visit the area again we would definitely book at the Buckatree. Thanks for a lovely stay.
