Felt the bedrooms were a bit dull. Staff excellent, very attentive and friendly. Food very good as well.

Chair in bedroom 125 had wobbly leg. Toilet roll holder loose. staff all very helpful and attentive-especially Anna & A??? at breakfast and Jodie at dinner.

Rooms are clean but small, not enough surface for placing your items on (ie in bathroom for shaving gear and toothbrushes) and poorly lit

the staff at the hotel could not be more helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel. This hotel is due to be taken over by Hilton and refurbished again

Most pleasant and attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble. Room fine, if a little small, but very comfortable. Dinners and breakfast were very good and waitresses excellent. Only drawback was it's location, if you wish to have time in the City doing shopping then you need to use your car and negotiate the difficult (for visitors!) roads and parking, or take a taxi both ways (approx

The hotel was beautifully presented, very clean and tasteful,beautiful food, but the strength of this hotel was the excellent staff. They are extremely efficient but so friendly as well as professional.

staff were all very friendly and made us feel very welcome. we had a small problem with our heating system and when this was not rectified to our satisfaction we were given an upgraded room at no extra cost.

Wonderful stay, friendly staff even went as far as letting chef know it was my partners birthday and they wrote happy birthday in choc sauce across his dessert plate. Stylish clean rooms, only negative jacuzzi was covered over and out of use . Would definatly stay again and recommend to friends.

The hotel is lovely - and very clean - and all the staff were very friendly and helpful with a good attitude. We ate in the bar one evening and the food was very good. Breakfast in the dining room was fine with lots of choice, but my husband would have preferred to have soft bread available to make a bacon buttie! The breakfast basket in the bar area ought to include coffee or tea in the price, not as an added extra. A few comments about the room ... Although the bathrooms looked very nice, they were impractical: - no soap dish at the basin - no shelf on which to put toiletries - poor lighting around the mirror (making it difficult to apply make up or shave) The mirror in the bedroom was poorly lit too. I don't understand why you feel the need to charge extra for Wifi in the rooms.

only problem we can see is ,we wish they would change the menu in the lounge it been like that for a while now .We like to eat in the lounge now and again rather than go into the dining room but that's the only problem the menu hasnt changed in ages ,once again had a great stay we will be back .

This hotel is excellent in many ways. It is very accessible; the staff in every area are excellent; the hotel is warm and friendly. The food is reasonable, not great, but well above average. The bedrooms are well furnished, but are let down by small things,like plastic tooth glasses. and no room refrigerator, and poor lighting.

Not the best breakfast we have had-felt it had been cooked and under the hot plate for too long -eggs a bit rubbery, black pudding hard, bacon very crispy and for a 4 star hotel thought it would have been better.

Breakfast time could be chaotic. Lots of guests, but often having to wait for eggs etc. to be replaced, while food on plate getting cold. A thorough review of breakfast time is required.

Hotel staff are all very friendly and informative. This is a very relaxing hotel within a short drive to main city of Dundee and a pleasant drive to St. Andrews & Fife. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending and will be back.

This is our 3rd stay at the landmark and we were disapoited. We booked the celebration package which consisted if chocs and chamagne on arrival 2 nidhts dbb. I booked on the 30 th august and requested a garden view rather than the car park we didn't get this als no chocs in room but instead a packet of fudge!!!a bottle of brut was left but not in an ice bucket!! The 1st nights meal was a disaster. When entering the restuarnt we noticed 3 diff people complaining to diff staff but didn't hear whatbut could tell it was not complimentery. We sat down for dinner at 8.20 ordered wine and 20mins later still did not have it. The manager apologised and said the didn't have it but wld replace with moet for the same price this we accepted. We then ordered food we were paying extra and ordered of the alacarte menu. We ordered food at 8.45 got stater at 9.30 which was soup and rissoto there was 18 people eating and I was told there was 6 chefs on. Why did we wait so long I asked they had no answer. We then got our main course at 10pm which was a joke my husbands seabass was as thin as the reciept we signed at the end off the night I had scallops and pigs cheek a very meek portion also. Paddy the manager was who we spoke to who was very appologetic and insured it wld not happen the following night. We received a free bottle of wine and service was better. Funny how there wass no wedding on the sunday but was on the saturday!! I feel the emphasis was put on the wedding and normal guests werelet down because of this.

Slightly disappointed with standard of room for a 4* hotel.Bedroom and ensuite very quite small,there was nowhere to lay anything down in toilet,soap had to sit on edge of bath.The toiletries provided were very basic,we`ve had better in a 3*.Overall we enjoyed our stay but don`t think we would use this hotel again.

This is the second time we have visited The Landmark Hotel and we were very pleased again with our stay. Our room was contemporary and spotlessly clean and the staff were pleasant throughout the hotel. Food was of a good standard.

staff great. room clean.had a good stay, unfortunately my wife stripped the bed to help the cleaner on the day we were leaving and was shocked by the big urine stain on the mattress protector!this surprised us being a four star hotel.
