First Class Hotel, as a family we have been here on many occasions,it was the first time for my mum aged 76,she couldnt believe how every one was so lovely also coudnt get over the great meals were.The rooms were big,very up todate and spotless,mum had a twin room, we had two family rooms which were also brilliant,staff made us feel really special when they gave us a table for 10 lovely touch,my hushband and i are going back up soon and already booked,best hotel in edinburgh well done Classic Britain for your expertise when choosing a brilliant first class stay.

Had a fab girlie break here. The staff were really friendly and helpful. From letting us borrow an ice bucket from the bar to phoning taxis and allowing us a late checkout. The rooms were lovely and clean and had everything we needed. We made good use of the pool and spa and enjoyed a drink in the bar. I would recommend this hotel and would visit again.

On arrival a very warm,speedy efficient check in, and a very welcome complimentary upgrade to a club room. During the two days,I was continually surprised by the warm and cheery staff from reception, (Maureen in reception was particularly welcoming and chatty but still being professional although she was going from a back shift that day to an early shift the next day) to chambermaids to cleaners, all genuinely spoke to you whether just passing the time of day or otherwise. They all seemed proud of their workplace. The only downside I would mention was the food and service in Lauder's restaurant at evening dinner time.We both had the smoked salmon and Rib Eye steaks(

our stay was most enjoyable from start to finish would definately return.My husband is diabetic and they put a small fridge in our room for his insulin.Nothing was any bother for the staff

room had a smell of cooking , think we were above the kitchen or from vent beside window. Bath tap very tight .Room layout good

Stayed there for Hogmanay. Excellent hotel with good facilities and excellent staff. On return from the street party at 2am the hotel bar was open serving complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits. A very thoughtful touch. We were also provided with a welcome pack containing travel info during this period. Will definately book again.

Excellent +. Hotel, staff, facilities and accomodation first class. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone. Close to Edinburgh, leave the car and get the bus right outside the Hotel. We had meals in the Bistro and despite it being the New Year the food was brilliant, lovely choices and big portions

We were very pleased with the hotel. The food was great - even our fussy 13 year old tried different foods. Rooms were spacious, clean and very comfy. Facilities were fantastic, we enjoyed the use of free WFI; but most imprtantly everybody who worked in the hotel were friendly and couldn't do enough for you. If we were going to Edinburgh again we would definately stay at the King Manor Hotel.

Great hotel, loved our stay here. The only negative was the service in the bistro. It was far too slow. We ate there twice and both times our meals took 40mins...not good with two small children!
