We had a lovely stay at the westerwood hotel. We stayed in one of the specious upgraded rooms. The hotel staff were all very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We ate in the grill room, the food was outstanding. Would definitely return to this hotel again, and will most definitely use classic Britain again.

As a regular visitor to this hotel I was very disappointed in my visit this week. Our room wasn't ready till 4.30 (although we'd booked 2 rooms so we could use 1) Not in the new wing as I'd asked as they said they were no twin rooms in the new wing. Surely that should be addressed. Dinner was booked for 7.45. We were told our table wasn't ready and should wait in the bar. 15 minutes later we still hadn't been served at the bar! They said they were trying to serve dinner guests drinks. At 8.15 we asked if we could go to our table and we were given menus. After 20 minutes we had to catch a waitress to take our order. In total it took 21/2 hours to serve us dinner. Food was amazing service dreadful. Next morning at the pool we were told there were no towels left and could we fetch the dirty ones from our rooms! At checkout the bill was wrong but was sorted as soon as we said. The hotel was very busy but there were not enough staff on to deal with this. It was a shame for them but no managers to be seen. If this had been my first visit I would never return. We went for my sons birthday and were very disappointed. We were in room 114 and 131.

The Westerwood Hotel and Golf Resort exceeded our expectations both in the friendliness of all Staff and the quality of service. The food was exceptional...both at dinner and breakfast. The spa facilities were first class as was the leisure facilities. We did not play golf on this occasion but are already planning a return visit which will include golf and are looking forward to repeating the great experience.

My husband and I have just returned from the Westerwood Hotel & Golf Resort. We can't praise the staff and the hotel highly enough. The hotel was lovely, the staff were so nice and helpful, the food and service was fantastic. We had a problem with the water supply in our first room (this was outwith the control of the hotel, but within an hour of reporting it, we were moved to another room. We were also delighted to be presented with a bottle of bubbly, as the hotel was aware we were celebrating our anniversary - that was a lovely touch. Thank you to all the staff for their kindness and impeccable service.

hi there , our stay was just ok , there service at dinner was very very slow which when your there with 2 kids this isn't ideal . I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any of my friends with kids .

Bedroom wasn't correct on arrive. However they worked it within minutes. Hotel is lovely staff very helpful and friendly service at all times. Foods is outstanding. Been here 3 years on the trot. And would come again.

The staff at the Westerwood were very very attentive and courteous at all times. Right from the minute we checked in until we checked out the folowing day we are treated extremely well. Everyone gave us their names and were very chatty and helpful. It was my sisters 50th birthday and we were delighted that they remembered and left some wine in the room and also provided a small cake and candle at dinner time. She was really pleased. I have stayed in a number of hotels over the years and this one is definitely at the top of my list!! Thank you.

had a great overnight with friends in this hotel. very comfortable rooms,food was really good and leisure facilities were very relaxing.

Restaurants both closed - buffet instead. This was disappointing as we have stayed in Westerwood before and the restaurants are very goo. No towels available at leisure facilities. Forced to return to hotel room in wet swimsuits. Staff pleasant at all times but unable to sort our above problems. Due to fire alarm gas supply was affected and breakfast was not ready. Had to wait. again this was disappointing sin the past the breakfast was excellent. I had bought this as a Christmas present and therefore this added to the disappointment.

My husband and. My brother I law and sister I law we're looking forward to a nice chilling night away but unfortunately the hotel was over run with children running around the hotel .it seems there were 80 children .but felt the reception could have spoke to either the parents or the children .have a grandchild myself but felt our relaxing break was wasted .food wasn't that warm so disapponited with our night away .
