My husband,son,daughter-in-law,grandson and myself thourougly enjoyed our stay at the Fishers hotel. It was very enjoyable the hotel was nicely decorated and clean, the bedrooms were freshly decorated and spotless, the staff polite and curteous. The garden room was nice and relaxing and was good for us to sit in with having the baby. The breakfast and dinners were lovely both having a great variety of choice. The entertainment in the hotel and in the Fishers bar was good too. A small criticism would be that there is a passage way through the small dinning room where people constantly pass through whilst people are eating their meals. The one and only time my husband and I were sat for dinner - at the tables for two on either side of the passage way - we both felt most uncomfortable eating there. Over all we had a good stay and would definately go back.

The food was not to the standard we expected and was confirmed by the number of plates returning to the kitchen with food on them.

Booked a one night DBB late deal through Classic Britain for the Fishers hotel. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the service was very good. Entertainment at the adjoining Kingsfishers bar was good. The only dissapoinment was the choice of food for the evening meal. Each choice my wife made from the menu there was none left, so had to choose an alternative. We dined at 8pm so not too late that all options should have run out. The food itself was fine, and the service very good.

My only complaint during our stay, was that given that the Hotel is going through a refurbishment process, it would have been nice to have been offered a newly refurbished room giving our hotel experience a better outcome instead of a complaint about Room

Staff very polite and helpful, food lovely, breakfast was fantastic. We did think there was going to be a live band playing, one of the reasons the twelve of us picked this hotel for my sons 30th birthday but we had a good night anyway and all of us agreed we would go back again.

We enjoyed our stay but our room was tired, hadn't been adequately cleaned and had a broken wardrobe door and broken blind. In addition our 'view' was over a messy roof and into other parts of the building so very little actual view beyond. The staff at the Fishers Hotel were friendly and helpful and the live music in the bar was a bonus. The food was a mixed bag with really good breakfasts and good main meals but disappointing starters and a bit of a false start with a cheesecake dessert that had melted into a warm bland blob on the plate. However, we had no issue with getting this swapped and that is where the staff at the Fishers make all the difference.

bedroom would have scored higher but the carpet had been lifted to re-plumb radiators and was not re-fitted properly. Also not tumblers in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent except for the long queue for hot food which was remedied when another person was put on to serve. Overall very happy with my stay

The staff and service at Fishers were excellant. Special thanks to the chef and Restaurant manager for (a) excellant birthday cake and (b) maiaining the surprise package for my wife's birthday. Rooms were good with adequate supply of tea/coffee/milk etc.
