Had a lovely stay at this Hotel. We were a bit worried as there was a wedding and our room faced the reception, music went of at midnight so it was fine, it was more the beat of the music rather than words you could hear anyway. Staff were very friendly.

The hotel itself was clean and room was fair size . Downside was the staff/service :-(. Between having to keep trying to find someone to serve in the bar then one of the girls young girl has a standing argument with myself and partner saying we can't put drinks on room bill . Keeping in mind we had been doing this since we checke do to hotel , was told that shouldn't been allowed as a debt card so lady that been serving throughout the day should never have done this !! To my understanding of we aren't told isn't allowed we are not aware of this and don't believe any staff member should be having a ten minute argument with a paying customer saying we can't do this when we had , then she eventually explained because was a debit card . Then again we were using room number and signing for drinks since check in so not our fault we weren't aware can only use credit card . The breakfast service very slow also and not the warmest after waiting 25 minutes for roll on bacon (said bap on menu ) was a morning roll and not fresh either .

We had a brilliant overnight stay here to celebrate our anniversary on the 6th May, the staff were all very helpful and professional too. We had dinner in Cooks which was delicious and then breakfast in the hotel which was first class. The kelpies are only a short walk from the hotel too and were stunning at night time. We will definitely be recommending you to others and hopefully will be back soon for another stay

We stayed here on a bank holiday Sunday. We were delighted to find such great food and service in the Cook's Bar & Kitchen, lovely hotel, pleasant bar and barman and everyone was so nice. The deal was great enough but also included tickets to see the Kelpies, which we visited on Monday. Great time away and great value for money. Thank you Fiona and Allan

Great stay at this clean and friendly hotel. Very friendly check in and a bottle of (decent quality) red wine in the room, which was spotless and spacious. We had evening meal with our £15 allowance. Great selection on the menu, I went for a pasta dish and my wife had braised steak. Both were excellent and plenty of food on the plate. The restaurant is separate to the hotel and you get a sense of being in a "proper" restaurant. Staff were very friendly. We ended up trying the "Green Kelpie" tails which to our amusement came to us in handled jam jars with a straw! Could have drank a lot of those but they were strong! We visited the Kelpies on the first night, choosing not to take the hotel's offer of the guided tour ticket (there's no tours when it's dark) they were amazing, well worth a visit.....and only 10 mins walk from hotel. Breakfast was full Scottish and excellent, more friendly staff and loads of tea. We were actually sad to be leaving as the hotel is so nice. Would definitely go back and would recommend to friends.

Staff very helpful and pleasant. Room very comfortable with all that one needs for a short break. Breakfast excellent with lots of choice. Only drawback is one has to go outside the hotel and walk across the car park to the restaiurant for all other meals.

Really good value, room was very comfy, we attended a party in the Hotel that evening and my only complaint would be the length of time we waited for our food , which would normally not have been a problem but as we booked for 5.45 to give us time to get to the party we were disappointed after advising the staff of this we did not leave the dining room until 8pm. I have to add the food was amazing.

We checked in to our room and was as requested ie ground floor with a cot for our baby. The stay was very pleasant and all staff in the resturant and hotel were more than friendly. The room was a pretty decent size and was also spotlessly clean. Would stay here again and pretty good for the amount we paid for 1 night

We stayed on the DBB deal. Let me first say, the hotel is beautiful, the room was first class and the staff were on the ball. The only downside was the food and service in the Cooks Diner. Fell way below the expected standard of a 4star package.

We stayed at the Grange Manor hotel on a classic Britain £40 b&b deal for 2 during the month of January. We were allocated a Garden view room, which is a separate building from the main manor building. The room was nice, modern & clean, the bed was perfect for me, not too soft with nice white linen. The bathroom had lovely white soft fluffy towels & good quality toiletries. We had dinner at the Cooks bar & restaurant in the hotel grounds, I had seafood tagliatelle, plenty of good quality seafood, but it was just too salty that I only eat some of it, but it was taken from my bill & received an apology from the chef. We had a drink in the bar in the main building, prices were as expected, not much of a atmosphere. The breakfast next day was plentiful & lovely. The only negative is having to dress for outside going for dinner & breakfast.

Had a great short break at this hotel second time my wife and I have been and yet again it did not disappoint only criticism is that on both visits the beer in the hotel bar [BEST] was awful very bad chemical taste not only myself but the friends with us both thought it was terrible. That aside the staff and the food in cooks were great.

Really enjoyed our two night break at The Grange Manor, the staff were excellent, especially the breakfast staff. The only down side was as we were in the garden wing having to brave the elements to go for your dinner, however that was no big deal. Would certainly stay again in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay. Our one night DBB was a late deal and a bargain! Hotel itself was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful, our room in the garden wing was spacious and clean and the hotel was easy to find not far from the motorway. Our package included dinner at Cooks Bar & Kitchen and was delicious, but also reasonably priced if you are just saying on a B&B basis. Breakfast in the hotel was also really good with lots of choices on offer. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel and intend to return although next time I would really like to stay in the superior rooms in the main building itself.
