Not a great stay unfortunately. The hotel staff did not seem to understand the package we had booked. I had to explain that we only had one dinner on one night of our two night stay. (I did not want to be charged extra at the end of our stay.)Also had to request the wine included in the deal 3 times before it arrived. Food was very poor and we actually sent side order and deserts back. Room was clean and comfortable but dirty glasses left in room and no milk relaced after room had been services. Information in room on food was missing from the information folder. Staff however were lovely but the overall experience was not one I would repeat

Very comfortable. Service during dinner was extremely slow. Nouvelle cuisine leaves you feeling a little cheated everything beautifully presented. The staff were all very helpful.

A great hotel but often let down by the food. Not necessarily the quality but often not warm enough. My wifes sheppards pie was the best I have tasted ( she gave me a taste) but it was not warm enough. My fillet steak was not good; both were replaced but it took 25 minutes for us both to have our dishes back! Staff were as always, wonderful. For my wife and I it is a 'home from home' and the staff know that!

Booked this trip at last minute so much so that hotel did not have us on their system! After a couple of phone calls we were checked in and enjoying our late deal with room upgrade dbb and late checkout. Have used this deal several times .Room didn't dissapoint.New menu on offer in grill room was lovely Haggis spring rolls a must! !!! Service wasquick and staff attentive previous dinners have seen varying levels of service. Best yet. ! Pool was just what was required after a hectic week! Will be back!

Very disappointed. Fire alarm constantly activating, which caused the gas supply to stop and therefore the food was cold. Service in bar very slow. Tried 14 times to phone Spa and reception from room, received no reply. Very poor indeed.

Great stay, hotel is lovely, rooms are very clean, staff were always polite and very helpfull, meals were great. I. can honestly say we had a lovely relaxing stay, the only negative was the faulty fire alarm, our evening meal was an hour late because of it, but staff could not appoligise enough. Would definatle recomend this hotel to everyone.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. This was an overnight stay with my sister and both our young daughters. The only thing I would highlight is the communication between Classic Britain and the Hotel - when the bill came at the end of dinner on the first night, we were charged separately for the children though our booking with Classic Britain clearly stated that we were all on a DB&B rate. The waitress took note and went to go and speak to her manager and after 35 minutes came back with the adjusted bill saying that the manager had never been made aware of this deal. As a professional within the industry I would not have informed the customer of this as this showed a lack of professionalism by the manager - that was for him / her to sort out with Classic Britain. The wait with 2 young children meant they ended up grumpy and to be honest it spoilt the end of the evening for us which we had thoroughly enjoyed up until that point. Service charge was added onto the bill which we hadn't noticed in any of the literature. We paid the extras that evening so as we could leave sharply the next morning. When I went to hand the keys in the service charge had been added to our bill again....the gentleman behind reception didn't question it when I said we had already paid it and removed it but again, another thing to make you sign over what should have been a straight forward transaction.

This is a fantastic hotel with great facilities. We had a standard room, but If I hadn't known better, I'd have thought that we had been given an upgrade - super bedroom. We had dinner at night and it was very good, but the breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice of foods.

i love the westerwood and will be going back only a ouple snags needing looked at when busy with large groups we had to wait twenty minutes for a drink and they forgot we ordered them so only after asking again did we get them service dropped when they were dealing with groups and we felt a bit neglected

enjoyed our stay. quick and friendly reception for checking in and out. Staff througout all very helpful and friendly, rooms grand and Spa lovely. only minor drawback No mini-bar or water in rooms, no air conditioning which would have been nice in this clamy weather.But otherwise really good value booking site and hotel.

Enjoyed our overnight stay at the Westerwood Hotel. Our room looked on to the golf course and was really lovely with a great bathroom. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. We even got a complimentary glass of champagne for our anniversary. We would recommend this hotel to our family and friends.
