Nice hotel, friendly staff and good food but the rooms have no sound proofing and could hear every word of the people next door conversation.

Pleasant hotel in good location. Rooms were fine. Dinner and breakfast service were chaotic and very slow. Food quality ok but nothing special. Bar/entertainment was not at all enjoyable. Despite being early Sunday evening, the bar was overrun with drunken foul mouthed idiots, who had been given the tv remote control to pick their own channels, with no thought for others, Also thought it ok to remove flowers from our table without a word. Deplorable, and should have been refused service long before they got in that state. I'm from Glasgow and know what the difference is between happy drunks and intimidating thugs. Deplorable, The advertised live entertainment was a karaoke machine. Nice hotel if you avoid the bar.

Lovely stay in a clean, well maintained hotel. Food was excellent and all home cooked. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.. Hope to stay again soon

Had a very enjoyable stay. Room was lovely, staff very friendly & helpful nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely. Entertainment was very good too. Only dissapointment was the evening meal, it was overcooked and tasteless, but it wouldnt put us off staying there again.

Exceptional value for money. Room with four poster and jacuzzi bath . Food excellent .pleasant courteous and helpful staff. Good location near to shopping outlet. Would not hesitate to use again.

Good visit,only disappointment,not being allowed to choose dinner from main menu,unless paying extra cost.restricted to limited paper menu.and advised restricted to 2 courses..not in the spirit of advertised deal.

We had anexcellent break helped in no small way by the friendly and informative staff. The room was clean and warm, the evening dinner was delicious and pleny o'it, and an appetising breakfast the following morning... Would go again and would reccommend to friends and family.

We stayed on Sunday and the deal we got was I thought worth it. The staff, and food was excellent. However, discounting the price I paid I would not be happy at paying full price for the room rate as it starts at 70+. As the rooms I was was offered (I saw two) were not what I want to come away to. They need updating, the shower has virtually no pressure which I mentioned and was told a few people had complained about this. Attention to detail would be appreciated. The shower curtain had a bad smell also. The bed was very comfortable. I would come back but only if the rooms were up to the standard of the food and staff. But again fir whst I paid it was worth it.

A very pleasant stay in a really nice hotel. Friendly welcome on arrival at reception. Room was clean and had all we needed. Hairdryer, toiletries, tea, coffee, shortbread biscuits and an iron and ironing board. Bed was comfy and great shower with plenty of hoer. Ate in the restaurant on the evening and the food was acceptable but it was a simple menu. Breakfast however was great, plenty of choice, fruit juice, croissants, cereals, yoghurts, toast, jams etc. Then a lovely cooked Scottish breakfast to follow. Top marks. Would definitely stay again if in the area. It was brilliant value for money.
