We had ordered a bottle of prosseco as an extra as it was our anniversary. Bottle of prossecco was in our room upon arrival but no ice bucket to keep it cold, bottle of wine included in our deal was not in the room so we thought we would have it at dinner but told we could not have it in the restaurant but could have it afterwards in the bar. Wife went to reception to complain but never got the wine that was included in the deal, I now had an annoyed wife which just spoiled our Anniversary stay as I tried to calm her about the situation.

Hotel was lovely nice clean. food was lovely only complaint was waiting to get served at the bar only 1 person serving and another 4 waiting to be served other staff entered the bar but no one decided to help out

Good value for money. Meal and entertainment were very good. Would definitely book again Reception, Bar and Restaurant area are lovely Furniture in room could do with an upgrade

Lovely 2 night stay here, room was spotless, we had room no 131 view to back grass area, plenty room for your dog to be walked / exercised. Quiet at night, bed comfortable, shower was an old M over the bath but worked brilliantly and hot, bath mat supplied too. Complimentary shower / shampoo/ soap. Towels replaced daily & tea coffee tray replenished. 2 course Dinner on 1st night was fabulous steak & ale pie for me, fish & chips for hubby. Desert was Biscoff cheesecake which was a delight. Breakfast was great both mornings - plentiful - can't fault anything except maybe need a few more staff as they work so hard. Will be back on this deal of £74.50pp for 2 nights dinner & both breakfasts ??

We had a lovely overnight stay at the hotel. Staff were very welcoming and service was great. We stayed BB and Evening meal. Food was lovely. Would highly recommend.

Hotel interior lovely, although the room we had was dated and had really uncomfortable bed. The grounds of the hotel on first glance looked lovely but on closer inspection were below par - eg weeds, over flowing ash trays. Food in the evening was decidedly average - bland starters and main courses. Drink was eye watering expensive (this is where the hotel must make its money) however on a plus note staff were pleasant and friendly. Wouldn’t return as stay was nothing to right home about.

Had an overnight stay here with dinner and breakfast included. Room was very spacious and clean. I did find the toilets very dated, could do with an upgrade as it lets down an otherwise very modern setting. Food was lovely and well presented, good choice as well. Staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.

I would like to say that we felt welcome soon as we walked into reception. Our room was good and had all amenities that you need. Our evening meal was good and bar area was relaxing. Breakfast was good . Overall the hotel and staff were friendly and would recommend to someone.x?

Lovely hotel and staff. Nice rooms but the bathroom in ours was a bit outdated. Reception, bar and restaurant were all very nicely furnished and decorated. The food was delicious, both the evening meal we had and breakfast the next day. Excellent value for money and we will definitely return.

A very pleasant and relaxing 2 day break. Good food, comfortable room and friendly and helpful staff. We have stayed in the hotel several times over the years and would recommend it.

Hotel looks great and rooms are excellent. Unfortunately although staff were hard working and very pleasant, how the hotel is organised is very poor. Forty five minute wait for both starter and main meal! Breakfast needs to be organised much better. Waiting too long for buffet items to be replenished. Get rid of jugs for tea, coffee etc. install a hot drinks machine and juice dispenser. Look at how other hotels deliver good service

Beautiful entrance and lounge/bar restaurant can say the same for room. Very small and twin beds. Could not use shower as over the bath very slippy. The bar staff were lovely especially the young guy in charge but they were run off their feet dirty glasses everywhere and having to wash individually as they served. ody came to help Dinner menu very limited but food ok. Buffet breakfast very disappointing not hot enough Would not return
