Excellent value DBB break in a lovely clean hotel. The rooms were spotless and the staff exceptionally pleasant. The deal included a 3 course dinner which consisted of well presented bistro style mains ie. lasagne, fish & chips etc. If you wanted to select from the full menu it was an additional £7.50 - although even with this additional cost the break was still excellent value.

Best dbb deal I've had at a hotel. Superb food, big choice for a budget deal, lovely relaxed atmosphere in dining room. The staff were so friendly and helpful. One tiny negative, the bathroom does need renovated but was fine for a one night stay. Overall would definitely go back and will recommend to friends.

Pleasant stay. Breakfast was tasty but a little wait for it. My partner and I throughly enjoyed our starter and main course. Had my eye on the cranachan dessert, but was too full. Staf helpful, especially Jane at reception.

Room was fairly small, but adequate for our 1 night stay. Despite there being a wedding on in the hotel, we had no disturbance whatsoever. The food was excellent - it was very refreshing to find a menu with a wide range of choice and only the steak had a supplement. All of our dishes were delicious and breakfast was also excellent. The staff were without exception extremely pleasant and helpful. All in all, an experience we would repeat

We had a very comfortable overnight stay. Our evening meal & breakfast were excellent. The staff were nice and friendly and we will definitely stay again. A bit of awkward confusion on my part when I went to book out and pay for my morning paper as I thought payment (Classic Britain) had been taken previously - oops and sorry!!

Friendly and helpful staff, made you feel very welcome from the minute you stepped through the door. Breakfast was made to order and the potato scones were the best I have tasted. Nice comfortable rooms. Enjoyed my stay and will certainly go back

The hotel was lovely, the food was amazing; the only thing that let the hotel down was lack of staff, the staff on duty were all so lovely and friendly, but not enough of them, which results in long waits for your meal and drink orders being forgotten. This would not put me off staying again, as it really is a lovely place, the rooms are big, clean and decorate nicely.

We only stayed for one night but will definitely be back! THe rooms were spotless, the food second to none and the hotel is ideally located within a short walk to the Gateway Outlet Village. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly without being in your face and we loved it. We have done several deals and this rates as one of the best.
