We really enjoyed our stay at The Gables Hotel. We were in the Ailsa Suite. The food was very good and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. No complaints from us. 10 out of 10 in our opinion. So handy for the Shopping gateway.

Very friendly staff - homely atmosphere. Really good - hot - food. Only comment tending to the negative would be that the grouting in the bathroom needed freshening up.

Hotel clean ,service in restraunt appalling waited over 1 hour for evening meal after ordered it on Friday night on Saay at breakfast it came out cold again after a long wait . The hotel gave us a bottle of fizz as an apology on Sunday only one person on serving it was a let down to the hotel

Overnight stay on a really good deal, absolutely no issues the staff were really friendly, welcoming and efficient. The hotel was very pleasant and the room was adequate clean and tidy and the facil you would expect, [tv, tea/coffee etc]. The food, dinner and breakfast was excellent, had to pay a surcharge for the steak, not a criticism, as it was well worth the extra. We had a most enjoyable experience on a deal that was great value for money.

Lovely friendly hotel, nice clean rooms, food very good, service good and staff very attentive. All in all a lovely stay and would not hesitate to pass on the hotel name to friends and family. Hope to stay at the Gables Hotel in the near future.....

The Gables Hotel was lovely. Stayed here over the Easter weekend and everything was excellent. The food was delicious and all the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed a good DBB deal through MyHotelBreak. Would recommend this hotel.

I had an enjoyable stay and the lady on the reception desk was extremely helpful. Food was lovely and the restaurant staff were very friendly. Room was large and very clean. wood recommend this hotel to friends.

Once again we all had a great time at the gables. This is the 4th time we have been not 100% rating few small problems that were sorted immediately. Did not spoil the break. The staff were pleasant and very professional no problems their meals were excellent. We will definitely go back next year.

Had a lovely overnight stay at The Gables. Corridor was a bit noisy with people talking, opening/slamming room or fire doors, but otherwise hotel was good. Booked a deal through myhotelbreak.com and felt it was great value. Dinner, bed and breakfast as well as a bottle of prosecco in the room for £79. Couldn't grumble at that price. Food was lovely and staff very pleasant.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Gables Hotel with a very good deal from myhotelbreak.com. The members of staff were all friendly and efficient in carrying out their duties, the food was varied and tasty and the room, with some minor housekeeping improvements possible, was more than adequate. We would happily return in the future.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Rooms were spotless and had a very comfy bed and a decent bathroom. We had a bar snack and ate in the restaurant, the food was excellent with lovely presentation. The breakfast was also very nice and freshly cooked to order. The bar has an amazing selection of drinks and tails. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family. Lovely stay.

Our stay at the gables hotel was brilliant from check in to check out. Reception very helpful and staf very cheerful ,special mention for big James very nice young man who answered any questions we had . First time we have been to gretna will be at same hotel once again many thanks to everyone at the gables from a very happy Mr & Mrs Muir.

Had a lovely time at this hotel. Staff lovely and friendly. Only down point is the food at dinner and breakfast took a very long time and when you have three kids with you is not ideal. But when it did come the food was lovely.x

Excellent stay. The staff are very friendly, we were late checking in due to traffic delays and as the last orders for the kitchen are usually 9pm they extended it a little so we could get food on arrival. The food we had from the bar/restaurant was excellent. Our room was on the ground floor and it was spacious and comfortable. The only slight issue was that the breakfast service was slow due to everyone coming in to breakfast later and there weren't enough tables set up just for twos. It was very busy however the staff coped fairly well and did apologise for the delays. It was only a very minor blip however and we will definitely be staying again.
