A great night at the entertainment break, Elton John/Neil Diamond. A lovely hot meal, a minor mcle by the kitchen staff with so many people, so well presented and tasty. We had six in our party so three rooms, all comfortable and all clean. Breakfast was great, good selection, all hot food was actually hot and still plenty there right up until finishing time. All the staff we had dealings with were polite, welcoming and helpful, you couldn’t ask for more. Very pleased and we will do it again.

We had a nice few nights at King Robert but would not return as the bed was so small certainly not a king size and didn’t even seem like a double. Room was 201. Don’t remember the bed being so small on our last visit in different room a few years ago. Room very small too. Staff great and meals lovely and great portions too. Room although small was very clean and nice bathroom with shower. Plenty parking spaces too and handy for visiting the castle.

Great hotel, staff are great they do a brilliant job, food was excellent we had DBB plenty of choice on the breakfast and dinner menu, chef made me poached eggs three mornings they were perfect. Only thing I thought could be doing with a good shampoo were the carpets in the room and on the landings apart from that couldn’t fault the hotel. Would highly recommend, great value for money.

Had a fabulous time staff were amazing it was our Golden wedding anniversary and everyone was si thoughtful. Rooms were clean and tidy. Pretty basic though. Could do with a bit of upgrading. The staff were really good, friendly, helpful, cheery and seemed to be very adept at multitasking. The food was really good, plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner.

My wife and i turned up on our day of booking and as we are previous visitors we were looking forward to our stay. My wife recently had surgery on her ankle and was in a boot and had crutches. Unfortunately it did not enter our minds to mention this beforehand. The woman on the reception could not do enough for us! To be honest all of the staff are fantastic and we cannot fault this hotel.

Once again, a great stay at The King Robert. Room spotless, friendly staff, great food, dog friendly and excellent value. Great location. We couldn't fault the hotel on anything even with the hotel being 100% booked one night of our stay, we would never have known. We visit this hotel regularly. Highly recommended.

Love this hotel, friendly, cheery staff who are extremely helpful. When we first arrived there was a problem with the booking however they soon found us a room and we had an enjoyable stay. This room had a bath with a shower whereas at our previous stay it was a shower cubicle which would have suited us better however we managed. It’s not perfectly decorated but it’s clean and tidy and rooms are modern. This is the second time we have visited and it won’t be the last. Food is amazing, the best we have had staying in hotels and the prices at the bar are reasonable too, highly recommend the lasagne and steak pie both cooked to perfection. Staff are so friendly. Hotel is in a great situation, perfect to visit The Bannockburn Centre, Stirling Castle, Wallace Monument and many more places. This is a hidden gem of a hotel and we look forward to returning.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening meals were enjoyable, good value for money with generous portions. Although the breakfast offered a good selection, some of the cooked food was only Luke warm with the plates barely heated.

Great deal on 2 nights DBB @ £109 pp with £22 pp per night for food. No weekend supplement charge and bowl of soup on arrival with bottle of wine in room. Good location for sightseeing and all hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Enough choice of traditional food on menu for the above price and tasty too. Thanks

Smooth check in, very polite and friendly staff. Room was good and clean, lovely walk-in shower. On dinner, b & b deal, food was lovely. Only one slight point, felt sorry for the 2 staff members doing dinners on Sat night. It was a very busy restaurant and should have had more staff helping. Definitely be back.

Room a bit tired and door not fitting properly as it had to be closed quite heavily making a bang. The disco and quiz were quite fun. Though on the tribute night Abba started at near 10 o’clock at night so getting tired. Good fun though. The staff at reception/bar/ restaurant and room service were polite friendly and helpful. Bar prices were reasonable I thought and the food at breakfast and dinner were enjoyed by us all.

Large room but small double bed. Trickle of water from shower - encased in lovely walk in shower - such a pity about the poor flow. Room was not serviced while we were there but for only 2 nights it was not a problem.
