Very close to the train station 5 minutes, checking in was fast and informative,Room was clean and well maintained,some road noise from 233 but not excessive,the restaurant food was of good quality but unfortunately only had my 3rd choice of mains.The breakfast was well stocked and replenished as and when required.

Hotel great location for touring the surrounding area and great for city centre. Discounted parking over the road. Staff lovely and always acknowledged you. We had a room in the top floor and it was very warm. We did ask for a fan which was brought to the room. Housekeeping let the side down a bit as we asked for our room to be serviced and two days running this was missed. The 3rd day was done but late on in the day. My hotel break package was very good and would highly recommend.

Had a two night stay at Leonardo’s Hotel Newcastle, room was very nice and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was more than adequate and bar prices very reasonable. Location ideal for railway station.

We had a very comfortable stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Scott on reception. Only drawback was that we could not use restaurant on second night of stay as it had been pre-booked by two coach tours and we were not informed of this. It did however not detract from our stay.

The hotel is lovely and clean not many sockets in the room thou. Breakfast was great lots of choice. The free coffee with the voucher we had it at the night time but wasn’t very nice and came in a paper cup

We enjoyed our stay. Bathroom definitely needs updating & it would be helpful to have another chair so we can sit at table. Nathan the barman was a gem, he was on his own but was efficient & friendly

Overall, 9/10 for all aspects of our stay. Great value accommodation, very good bedroom and facilities, very good breakfast. Great location - easy access to train station, the Metro, the River Tyne, Buses, and the town centre. Would be happy to stay there again and would recommend the Leonardo Hotel, Newcastle for short stays.

The hotel is very well located for the city centre. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic stay and great value for money. Room was clean and it was a nice touch to provide a couple of bottles of complimentary water. Hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the station and 10 minute walk to Eldon square shopping centre. We booked the package deal which included a bottle of prosecco and coffee (at the bar). Breakfast was also very good.

Had another great stay,nice clean modern hotel with really nice staff throughout. Had a meal in the bar with a few drinks and were well looked after by Sam and Edward, before heading out..plenty to chose from at breakfast,nice relaxed morning.

Having stayed at the hotel before we happily booked again, however on this occasion we had booked the offer to get prosecco and pizza. The hotel had no prosecco left but did offer an alternative of a bottle of house wine as a replacement so thank you! When ordering food we were told that the dinner menu was off and only the lunch menu was on offer nothing else, for other guests to come in and order things which were not on the menu so staff must have made them aware of additional products. Overall a great stay but on this occasion we felt the staff were not as helpful or tentative to customer needs.
