My husband and I were here for my 65th birthday on the 20th march for 2 nights. All the staff we came across were very nice and helpful. We both had the cooked breakfast on the first morning, the sausage on my hubby's plate looked as if it had been bbq'd first and he cudnt get his knife through it. Mine was ok. The dinner we had both nights was delicious. Hubby had the scallops followed by the sea bass and he said they were the best he has ever had. I thought the drinks were a bit pricey but that's hotels for you. We were on the 3rd floor and thank god they had a lift but you have to rely on previous users closing the gates properly as one time we couldn't use it but thankfully we were going downstairs.

Stayed h in Killin hotel for 2 nights The hotel was really good Rooms were clean but a bit dated furniture,didn't put us off through. The food was excellent ,best food we have had in any hotel . Staff were very good, specially Amy in the restaurant she was amazing Would definitely go again .

Nice hotel Bed very hard never had a great sleep The toilet was very loud when flushed so not a great idea to flush if u don't want to wake the building. Bath wasn't the best needed replaced Food was nice

Room was needing a bit of attention but was very clean. Lovely clean hotel and excellent value for money. Staff were lovely.

Stayed two nights in a twin room Room was clean and had all we needed. Bar was cosy with open fire Food was huge portions tasty but no note of supplements until check out on the Sunday. This should be more transparent. Definitely stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Killin Hotel. The room I stayed in was a bit dated, but it was comfortable enough. As I was there with my partner , two chairs for sitting purposes, instead of just one would have been been great. The only other negative was that the bar area was extremely small and finding somewhere to sit was always difficult. Having said that, the ambience of the place was great. The staff were friendly and very accommodating and the food served both at dinner time and breakfast was outstanding. There was ample parking outside and my stay was very peaceful. It was amazing value for money all round.

My friend and I booked this for our husband’s Christmas. Had a lovely stay, staff were so nice, food was really good. A lovely real fire in the bar/lounge nice to sit and chill after a nice walk.

We really enjoyed the 3 night new year break. The staff were all excellent, food was really good but the only disappointment was the entertainment. We'd have much preferred a ceilidh on hogmanay but we appreciate this is a personal choice. We didn't enjoy the entertainment on the last evening, while they were clearly talented musicians we didn't find them funny in the slightest.

Fabulous stay at Killin hotel, staff are very accommodating, evening meal and breakfast were delicious, bedroom was lovely and warm. We will return in the summer for another stay.

Room was ok but the bathroom was in poor condition and badly needing an overall service terrible in restaurant over an hour to wait for a starter not told about supplement items and food cooked to a poor standard dry chicken and over cooked mussels

Arrived slightly early but was able to check in, room was clean decor fine, but a little small. No glass of fizz as listed. The restaurant was nicely laid out and the food was delicious and plentiful. Unfortunately we found the first night very noisy a lot of doors banging. The next night was little better and slept well. Breakfast was very tasty and again plentiful. Could have done with some fresh berries and plain yoghurt, that’s just personal to me. Would definitely go back but stay on the upper floor. Being in our late seventies we like a bit of quiet. Looking forward to another wee break with your company again soon.

We had a very nice overnight stay. Staff were lovely. Food was great. Room was good. Only thing we found was that although radiator was very hot it wasn't quite enough to warm the large room.

Brilliant hotel. Very clean. Cosy and spacious at the same time. Lovely room. Food is amazing and very generous portions. Staff are great. Very friendly and so helpful. This was our third visit and will definitely be back.

Think this hotel needs a visit to review whether it should be included in your listings. 30 minute wait to find somebody available to check in, dirty laundry left lying in reception, no bar staff in afternoon and no kitchen staff in afternoon, so no lunch, and this had been advertised on their website. Drinks menu out of date, no glass of fizz on arrive as promised, food menu at both dinner and breakfast very limited and a crazy constant change of staff. That said our room in the annex was very suitable as my husband is disabled and both bed linen and towels very clean. Unfortunately the window couldn’t open and where the kettle had to be placed to have a cup up tea was dangerous - on the floor. Due to no one’s fault, the fire alarm went off just after 2 am on the second night and we were outside for nearly an hour, no fire but no explanation either. To say we were glad to come home was an understatement.

Good value one night break at the Killen Hotel. £109 for BB and Evening meal for 2. Nice bar area, could do with some more seats though. Will return if in the area.
