Lovely clean rooms and receptionist when booked in was very chatty and informative. Food was really good .... service was quick... Down side I asked for a jug of water with my meal along with bottle of red wine.. 2 glasses with ice 2 wine glasses and red wine served in a cooler with ice ...no water ..asked 3 times for water but still not got it... When you order food online you pay a tip as well ..we gave 20% tip on all the bill ..won't do that next time ..didn't deserve a tip ... Front door gets locked at night and guests are asked if they are going to come in late to request the code to open door...obviously some people didn't get the memo as the front door got hammered down from 11.30 till about 12.45... hotel explained that it could have been non residents

We have stayed at the Killin Hotel on many occasions. We really enjoyed our overnight stay and found the staff very friendly, especially lady on reception and waiter in the dining room who helped us order our food and drinks on the app. The room was clean and tidy and the food was lovely. I would recommend the Killin Hotel to anyone.

Friendly and welcoming. Comfortable but basic accommodation. The electronic ordering system doesn’t seem very popular, effective or reliable. Although in theory it is meant to save time, it just seems to cause frustration. Food quality was good and staff very helpful. Great location.

Had a lovely stay at The Killin Hotel . Arrived early , our room was ready . Very friendly and cheery receptionist. View of river from our window was a bonus . Great location, great customer service and good food .

very pleasant stay only one night but very pleased with service and evening meal. My main concern was the total failure of hotel in implement any Covid procedures. People walking around bar and dinning rooms without masks. No distancing observed ,noticed in previous comments similar observation from previous guests. As this is the case what is point of reviews as obviously hotel ignores them ,pity because so much is good about this hotel.

My husband and I had a great time staying at the Killin hotel. We have stayed here many times over the years. The staff and service are faultless. Thank you for that. The only criticism I have is the shower room within Rm19 which needed upgrading, it appeared neglected, mouldy tiles and damp odour. I am aware refurb of the hotel is an ongoing plan. The room and bed itself was very good and we very much enjoyed our stay. It gave us the opportunity of visiting the birks of Aberfeldy which is a must see. Loved it

Excellent stay for my good lady and I plus our wee dog. Room lovely. Staff excellent particularly Stuart ( Stewart ? ) the manager. Place very well run and spotless. Very dog friendly and genuine friendly folk. This excellent hotel has the staff that fits.

Stay for two nights had room 38 , nice views for the hills and the river, only the room is small and the bathroom is the size of a small cupboard not alot of space between the toilet and the wall i would make sure you open the window while in the shower too there is a fan in there ,apart from that the hotel was lovely staff friendly when u seen them , Food was lovely we ate both nights food was amazing , breakfast was good ,

Really enjoyed our stay at Killin Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and service was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean and cosy. We had beautiful views from our bedroom of River Lochay, the Tarmachan group of mountains and when it was clear, of Ben Lawers and Loch Tay. Food was delicious and there was good choice.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Evening meal was one of the best steaks I have had (and I’m fussy with my steak!) the bed was very comfortable and room decor was nice and cosy. Will definitely come back in the summer.

Nice hotel, food ok, the stay was made more pleasurable by one of the member of staff, Shaun, his service and banter exceptional, a credit to the hotel, and a major reason to return in future. Made a good break great.

Lovely stay at the hotel. Staff very good and friendly food was excellent. Rooms were nice although the bathroom could definitely do with a bit of tlc. Would recommend to anyone who would like a quiet few days away. Will return.

For dinner ordered Chicken Tikka and it was cold,but quickly taken away and returned hot Breakfast was terrible Sausage was over cooked it was like rubber also the Black pudding was under cooked... not one member of management came near regarding complaints ..will not return to this hotel.

Hotel is perfectly acceptable for a cheap night or 2 away and plenty of hand sanitiser available for guests and staff which was very reassuring, however, the hotel is very tired looking and desperately needs a bit of a makeover. If you're just looking for somewhere clean as a base while you explore the beautiful surrounding areas, then this would probably suit you.
