Great value for money. Had bed and breakfast and bottle of house wine in room( costs £21 in hotel bar) for our £99 voucher. Good choice of breakfast in morning Great sleep- bed comfy. Point taken off for room as it’s a bit dated decor wise but had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Will definitely stay again

Staff in the hotel were friendly and willing to assist with any request. A huge round of applause for everyone , as we truly had a memorable stay. For us and our dog it was relaxing and will definitely return in the future.

The friendly staff at the North West Castle made our stay such a pleasant experience. This was our first visit and won’t be our last. The facilities were clean and welcoming.

Well located hotel with interesting history. Reception staff were very helpful. Room was huge but resembled a care home interior and looked shabby. Complementary upgrade was appreciated. Linen and towels were clean however basics like dusting and cleaning of some surfaces had been overlooked. Food was good and service was efficient. Staff throughout were courteous and helpful. Overall a pleasant stay, good value for what we paid however peeling and torn wallpaper, slight scruffiness and an overall feeling of neglect may deter people from revisiting.

Our stay was brilliant as always. Room was lovely and spacious the housekeepers do an amazing job, we ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was lovely we have been coming to this hotel for many years and have booked to come back next year. All the staff are so friendly and helpful

This Hotel was excellent Value for money. The hotel was very clean ,in all areas. staff were very polite,helpful and plenty of them around.. Food was very nicely cooked and served at both breakfast and dinner. Basic foods all available We had the dog with us and were made most welcome, there was an area where we could eat with the dog and have a drink if desired A very pleasant experience Thankyou to all staff

The staff were friendly but apart from reception they were largely inexperienced and errors were made. The service is not as good as under previous owners, all the extra touches like tablet with your coffee after your meal are gone. We were incorrectly overcharged and waited 40 minutes for our breakfast and on top of that they got the order wrong. Disappointed not up to the usual standard.

Hi we have just came home from a two day birthday treat for my husband to this hotel and are very disappointed. The smell from the carpets in corridors was appalling also the showers in the changing rooms in the leisure facilities were out of order also both ladies and gents saunas were out of order. I my we had known this we would never have booked that said hotel . It was way too over priced

Arrived at the Hotel to be allocated an annex room in an adjacent alow. Perfectly clean, comfortable and adequate for a three night stay. With all Covid protocols in place the staff throughout the hotel were pleasant and helpful. Meals were a bit chaotic due to distancing and the hotel being busy but ample and tasty. It was a pleasant break and I wouldn't hesitate to return.
