Fantastic stay, friendly, polite and very helpful staff. Reason for low score on food was 2nd night evening meal was very poor especially as we had thoroughly enjoyed our meal the previous evening.

My wife and myself stayed at this hotel midweek. From the minute we entered I have never met such lovely helpful staff. Most were polish but were very professional. Nothing was a problem. Room was spotless had everything required. Could be noisy due to corridor door being shut not hotels fault. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Dinner was excellent. Leisure facil very good. Bus number 26 every 10 mins during day to centre. Will definitely be back.

Prior to going on this trip and having already booked the Hotel we read appalling comments from a previous visitor. Luckily this did not put us off as we had a wonderful stay. Everything and everyone was first class. No complaints at all.

Had a pleasant stay with my partner, staff very helpful and friendly and food was lovely. Bottle of bubbly and a pamper pack on arrival was a nice touch as well. Had a great weekend would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff, great rooms and a very enjoyable stay. Only a mixup by restaurant manager threatened to spoil our stay but this was resolved the next day by reception staff and later the same day by the manager. Highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Edinburgh. No 26 bus in and out of city centre is frequent and runs through the night too.

Myself and my husband stayed for 2 nights and I really couldnt have been happier with the hotel and staff. The room was lovely and clean. The staff were great and couldnt do enough for you. For anyone that doesnt drive the hotel is at the top of a very steep hill so I would recommend getting the no 26 bus from the main road to outside the hotel if you have bags :)

Brilliant couple of days away at the hotel. Staff were amazing And extremely helpful, attentive and polite. We're were booked in with evening meal on the early bird menu which would be only disappointment as menu very limited. Second night we were given early bird menu and a la cartel but not explained well how the deal applied to us. Rooms were immaculate and pool facil were fantastic. Bus just round the corner takes you to city centre and every 10 minutes to great location

The room was lovely bright and spacious, if I am being truthful the meal was not good , I had to sent the soup back it was cold, chips back they were cold and my pork was over cooked

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel and the staff were very helpful. The room was clean and tidy and was quite spacious. The only downside was our room was right beside the door through to the bedrooms and every time people went back and forth the door would bang but despite that I would stay at the hotel again

Stayed here with my husband for a wee overnight getaway. Hotel and room was nice and clean. Staff were friendly. Food was lovely. Lots of choice for breakfast. Will definitively stay again.

Always try to use this hotel as location excellent to leave car and use bus service. Hotel staff and facil are first class and would have no hesitation in recommending for business or pleasure

The staff were very friendly and the room was big. Very limited menu included in the deal so may not suit everyone , the restaurant and bar area was cold we ended up going to our room to keep warm. Disturbed during the night by a guy who was locked out his room, he wouldn't stop banging on our door - quite htening

On arrival at Hotel at about 1345 were told that room was not ready, to take seat and they would let us known when it was. About 2.20 asked again if room was ready took another few moments to get our keys. At this time several other guests had obtained their keys seemingly without any bother. When we asked the receptionist if we could book for dinner she said that all that she had was after 9.00pm..When I told her that our deal was to eat between 5pm and 7pm she found us a table. At no time did she mention that the limit I could spend was £10 on dinner, it was not until the following night that we were informed that was the case, so as a result without incurring extra expense we were limited to a one course evening meal.When booking with hotel breaks this limit was not explained to us
