The room was beautiful and very comfortable but the food was not as good as we had hoped. There was only one rose wine available and that was sweet. No plain yogurt and no fresh fruit at breakfast. However the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We would come back in the hope that the food might have improved.

Excellent in every way. Cleanliness, service, food, staf absolutely first class. Our booking was a one-night stopover and just a shot in the dark but what a lucky shot! We'll be back soon for a longer stay......

Quality of the food let's this hotel down. Perhaps if the menu was not so large the emphasis could be on better quality. Also when we ordered a specific wine it was not available a thing I find incredible considering it does not stock an extensive range of wines. Saying this we will return but possibly on a bed & breakfast basis.

twice stayed at this hotel highly recommend it .Have personally recommended to friends and family if they are looking for hotels in and around Inverness .The hotel is also good for touring in and around Loch Ness

We had twin grandchildren (only 20 month'sold) with us and they were a bit trying at times, in particular in the restaurant. However not once did we feel unwelcome by the hotel, its staff (and indeed other guests). I only have good things to say about the very friendly staff (and owner/manager) in all aspects of our stay at the hotel. The room was a family room (as requested) but I imagine most other rooms would have been presented to a higher standard.

Fantastic hotel and staff which is a credit to the management and staff. The hotel is beautifully decorated from the hotel entrance throughout. On arrival the hotel receptionist confirmed our booking and was giving us our allocated room however when she noticed I was disabled and using a walking aid immediately got another room key which she said might more easily accessible. She then escorted us to the other room and offered to take our suitcase. The alternative room was excellent and we took it straight away. We where on a DBB deal and the food was excellent as well. We cannot praise the staff at every level for their friendly and courteous service throughout our visit. Thanks to all for making our visit so good. We will definitely be back in the future.

My wife, adult son and myself spent a lovely 2 nights at this well run hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The two rooms were comfortable, clean and well maintained in all areas. The restaurant was welcoming and cosy. The food was served by friendly staff. We ate well with good quality food and good choice over the two days we stayed here. Well recommended for people o ages and the hotel is well located on the centre of this lovely village well within reach of Inverness, Loch Ness and other good places around here. Can also be reached easily by public transport (rail and bus)

have just returned from week end break with friends it was excellent, staff ,food and hotel well worth a visit .it was our 2nd visit friend are raving about it as was their 1st visit breakfast was belly buster sets you up for the day.Sundays high tea worth a try only could not finish cakes as was excellent

unfortunately still disappointed with the quality of the food on the dinner menu. the rump steak was tough and lukewarm and the onions/mushroms overcooked. saying that the breakfast menu has a lot more choices and is the redeeming feature. despite this willing to return as the rooms always comfortable and the staff welcoming.

Great night away at The Priory. Hotel was spotlessly clean and all staff were nice and pleasant. Food was amazing and the breakfast cooked to order was great too. Offered more tea, toast and coffee too, Definitely will return here and definitely recommend to others.

We've just returned from an enjoyable stay in the Priory Hotel. Friendly, informal atmosphere, with very helpful staff (special mention for Trish for going above and beyond in dropping us at Glen Ord Distillery for tour). Flexibility around breakfast time is a great featur,and much appreciated. Our room was a bit hot during the night, but otherwise very clean and comfortable. We'd definitely return to the hotel for another short break. As vegetarians, we tend not to expect much in the way of choice with DBB deals, but the food was fine - when checking out, we were told that we could have requested other options, and would consider doing that in the future. Beauly is an ideal Base for exploring the Highlands - Glen Affric is a must see.

The hotel was excellent value. The staff were excellent, especially Trish. Six of us travelled up to see the Rod Stewart concert in Inverness. Trish took us into Inverness into Inverness in the hotels courtesy bus before the concert and collected us again after the concert and brought us back to the hotel. She was a star and we are so grateful for driving us. The rooms in the hotel were clean and tidy. The breakfast selection in the morning was fantastic. Would recommend this hotel as a base if you were going up for a weekend.
