I enjoyed my stay and would certainly stay again. Dinner was excellent but thought the continental breakfast could have been improved. Reception staff were were friendly and helpful.

Dinner was beautiful we couldn't fault it however breakfast wasn't great at all. The rooms very old abd run down. There were hairs behind the toilet door. The bedside lights didn't work and the radiator in the room didn't work. The service at reception wasn't the most friendly they were happy to see you leave quickly taking keys from you without asking how your stay was.

Lovely hotel with beautiful staircase. Staff very helpful and courteous. Good food too. Great location. Drinks from the bar are quite expensive that's the only negative thing I can say. Will definitely be back.

Average hotel. Location was great very central. Rooms need a bit of updating. No storage like drawers for clothes, tiny wardrobe with only 5 coat hangers. Window very old and looked as though it was ready to fall out. Food was okay but expensive so lucky it was included in our stay. Staff were good especially the two young girls who served us our afternoon tea. Breakfast was bit disappointing especially the hot choice which we paid extra for.

Just a lovely stay from arrival to departure. One triple room and one twin between us. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast had everything you could possibly want but If you wanted a cooked one only £5 to pay. This is my second visit to this hotel and I know I will be back again.

Hotel right in the middle of Inverness which is handy It’s a bit tired and rooms etc could do with a bit of a face lift but for what we paid was good value Staff were very pleasant and attentive and the food was good if not great

My partner and I had a nice time away, the staff were lovely, the food was very nice, however the rooms are a bit tired, decorating needed. Would definitely return Inverness is lovely.

Beautiful Scottish hotel. Situated in a great location. Meals are beautiful and tasty. Staff are friendly and professional. Highly recommended and will be back. Only negative I would say is the lack of parking. Couldn't see any disabled bays

Had a lovely stay at the Royal Highland Hotel in March 2022. Food was lovely,staff friendly and helpful,rooms fully equipped and beds clean and comfy .Unfortunately this grand old hotel is looking very tired and shabby in places and really needs a revamp and freshen up .

Excellent value for money, good food and (mostly) good service. Very disappointed with the room, the bathroom was bigger than the bedroom. Only place I've stayed where the double bed was pushed up alongside one wall, so you could only enter from one side. Ok for a single bed, very inconvenient for a double. As requested, phoned the hotel before our stay and booked dinner for both nights, however on the second night the restaurant staff had no notice of the booking. The restaurant manager, however, sorted this (and another later problem with service) very quickly and impressively, his customer skills were excellent.

Hotel needs upgrade. Requested upgrade to royal room by phone twice. When making payment discovered we were not in a royal room. Certainly not charged for the upgrade but disappointed none the less. Dinner was delicious.

We have stayed here several times now. Have never had any complaints in previous visits and the same applies this time. We decided to travel by coach this time instead of taking the car and Ute was very relaxing. Hotel was clean and staff very polite and helpful as usual. Breakfast was nice and dinner in restaurant was lovely.

Super hotel really well placed for shops and sights.The staff are pleasant and helpful and bedrooms comfortable if a little dated.Food in the restaurant was very tasty and the complimentary tail a welcome bonus.

Delicious food , clean and comfortable rooms and very friendly staff , particularly Aidan and Gail Rose in the dining room . Would definitely return
