Second visit to the inverc hotel and another great stay took two friends with us and they enjoyed it as well. The staff were great and really helpful and the food was excellent and great value

This is our third time staying at the Inverc Hotel this year on a two day break. Beautiful setting and staff are all lovely. However, we had a bit of a disappointment when the room we were allocated was not the same standard as before. I'm unsure how this happened as we paid extra to upgrade with Myhotelbreak.com, to a King executive room, which I understood was the renovated rooms. When I spoke to the receptionist the following morning about this, she told us it wasn't one of the upgraded rooms. She did, however, move us to a family room, which was a renovated room for the last day. It's just a pity that the first night was our 55th wedding anniversary, and the following day was my husband's birthday. Although there was not any acknowledgement of this, we would still return to the Inverc Hotel.

Lovely hotel set in beautiful surroundings. Blissfully quiet. The town centre is a bit of a trek. Thought it was a lot closer. Went for a treat as it was my son's birthday. Would recommend.

Well ran hotel, plenty of free parking, great views, large clean comfortable room, friendly helpful staff, lovely food with quick service, fabulous outdoor seating areas by the two huge Redwood trees. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Stayed at hotel for 2 nights food was good as was the staff very attentive. Shower in room was faulty as could not put temperature down and bed was very uncomfortable mattress in my view needs replacing.

Comfortable room but not very inviting. Breakfast first morning was stone cold from the buffet. Waitress kindly put in microwave. No attempt either day to replenish breakfast buffet when it ran out. Poor choice too. Would not go back.

Enjoyed our most recent stay at the Inverc Hotel. However we were slightly disappointed to be allocated a room with only a shower, we normally have one with a bath. The breakfasts are superb with plenty of choice, but I was disappointed with my dinner on the Friday having asked for a small portion of breaded fish, when it cane was surprised to find a tiny fillet which had been overcooked and with very little white meat to speak of. This was surrounded by a very large portion of chips, which I could not eat. This us this is the only time the food has not been up to its usual standard and will not deter us from returning.

My wife and I always stay at the Inverc hotel when visiting our son and daughter-in-law in Dundee. As before our room was spacious and comfortable, the staff are friendly and professional, great views and relaxing public areas. On this occasion we dined with the family and I have only given the food a score of 7 as two of the meals ordered. (Kebabs), were poorly cooked and one had to be returned. That said we would definitely recommend dining there as this is the only time we have had to give them a lower score.

We really enjoyed our 2 nights at The Inverc. The hotel is beautifully furnished and the super views from the restaurant out towards the river provide a great vista at dinner and breakfast. We both enjoyed our meals in the restaurant which were included in the break price, plentiful portions and very tasty. Service in all areas of the hotel was very good, with all staff keen to please and well trained. Our room had a huge shower, the only slight gripe being a creaky bed but apart from that small thing, everything was great and we would highly recommend.

Lovely hotel in a wonderful location with great views over the River Tay. Friendliness and service from the staff were first class. Compliments to the chef because the food was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Had a lovely stay here on 30th June in the Inverc Hotel. Staff were friendly & helpful. Receptionist on check in especially welcoming. Our room was spacious & modern.Food was very good as was service with it. Lovely gardens and peaceful location. We will definitely be back.

We have stayed here several times and have enjoyed all our visits. Would recommend thoroughly. The King Room we stayed in ,on this visit was one of the rooms which has not been updated and as a result was a good size, very clean and completely acceptable, but the decor was a little ‘tired’. Breakfast buffet - very good. Evening dinner surpasses expectations. Every menu option is competently prepared and presented. But some options are original and would not be out of place in a ‘fine dining’ restaurant.

Really lovely stay..will book again..breakfast young ladies on duty were very nice..receptionist booking in and out pleasant..dinner very good..only letdown in our opinion was the breakfast..expected a better Scottish breakfast..we realise coach parties are accommodated here so self service is best option but we didn’t enjoy any of it…saying that we would book again and just accept yogurt and toast for breakfast as overall such good value for the overall stay..thank you..

First time for us at this hotel, we will be back! Ground floor room was spacious, clean and well maintained , as was the fully tiled bathroom. All staff encountered during our 2 night stay were courteous, friendly and helpful. Pleasant restaurant with a good view and choice of menu. Thank you for an enjoyable stay..
