Really enjoyable break. This was my 2nd visit to Rob Roy and again I found the staff very welcoming, and the food exceptionally good, couple this with evening entertainment and I don't think you would find better value for money.

We had a lovely couple of days. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a problem with the menu on the first night due to mouth surgery but the waiter and cheered to make me something else which was much appreciated. Xx

Booked a 2 night DBB at £138 for the 2 of us to do some hill walking in TheTrossachs. The price is pretty cheap so expectations were actually fairly low.... Well, I was more than pleasantly surprised:- big spacious spotlessly clean room, good shower. 3 course dinners were excellent, surprisingly so and can't praise enough. Breakfast was ample with a decent selection. No spa or other type facilities at the hotel but was still good value and best recommendation is that I'd return happily!

Really nice hotel, terrific and very helpful staff. Food was excellent, the room was brilliant, very clean and inviting. The bed was as comfortable as any I had ever slept in. I will go back in a heartbeat. Well done, everyone.

Was very happy with the service, the staff was very helpful and the room was outstanding, we loved it. The food was excellent. We have booked to return in August for a tribute night, and really looking forward to it. I have recommended the hotel to my family and friends.

Delightful stay at the Rob Roy .Staff are pleasant and rooms are clean and comfortable.Food is the best reason to come to this hotel as its delicious .Bar prices are reasonable .

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at the Rob Roy Hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. I will definitely book again and I have been recommending it my friends. Great value for money.

Had a great time staying here for a dinner dance. Last time at hotel was nearly 30 years ago and there had been a lot of changes made, rooms were certainly an improvement to the old chalets! Very well organised at dinner and the band was great. Overall a super time!

Spent 4 nights at the hotel and was very impressed by the food and the service both of which were of a high standard. Breakfast was always fresh and dinner was imaginative and tasty. Staff were outstanding; very positive, competent and welcoming. We'll definitely be back.

Enjoyed the tribute night , well worth the money , 16 of us stayed over , celebrating a 65th birthday , first started going to the rob roy 20 yrs ago and have returned numerous times , and no doubt will be returning in the future

This was my first visit to Aberfoyle. My stay at the Rob Roy Hotel was excellent, particularly the Saturday night dinner and dance. The food was delicious and the service was courteous and efficient. The band (Back to Basics) ensured everyone really enjoyed a great night of dancing and fun. All party groups were made welcome and got a mention which added to their enjoyment. The area surrounding the Hotel is excellent for those who enjoy a good walk. The walkway between the Hotel and the local village of Aberfoyle is an excellent safety feature as the main roads are not suitable for walkers. A really enjoyable weekend break, highly recommended.
