Did not stay in this hotel as about 4pm it was inundated with hen &stag parties booked for the tribute night they were very noisy .... was offered a refund & left after being informed by reception tribute nights always attracted large groups !

Really enjoyed my stay here with my friends ,very friendly staff, my room was lovely we all enjoyed the 4course meal and breakfast in the morning .thank you all very much for our lovely stay we will all be back again .I have also recommended your hotel to my family and friends.

Just back from Rob Roy Elvis Tribute weekend where we were 8 family members and all of us had a great time. Everything was excellent we were allocated 4 rooms together which was very handy all meals you could not get better for the money you paid all staff were really friendly we all like the place so much that we are trying to book up to go to another tribute night next year and also taking more of our friends as we feel this is an excellent entertainment venue. Thank you very much Roy Roy Hotel for making our stay special and can't wait till be return.

had never stayed at the rob roy before but was pleasantly surprised by the place . roomwas clean, food was great ,good portions ,staff very friendly escecially anne on reception ,entertainment was also good and the price was right .would book this hotel again no problem

The hotel ok. There were hardly any staff about and they were not that friendly.. The rooms were ok, very clean but beds and pillows uncomfortable. Food was nice, breakfast fresh for a bufffet. We felt rushed when ordering dinner. Nice location and walks from hotel. No atmosphere in hotel. Wouldnt return.

When you first drive in to Rob Roy don't be fooled by its lay out as it's not laid out like a normal hotel, it's only 2 storeys high and quite long corridors if you have a room at very end of block. The rooms are quite spacious and immaculate but basic at same time. The menu is really good with quite a few options and roasting hot, coffee is served at your table after meal. Staff are Brilliant and if you need anything at all it's not a problem. We only had 2 very small wishes and that was ..1st..No hook on back of toilet door to hang your stuff on and ...2nd...Very low bed in our room, don't know i are the same but low does not do for everyone. There is a Cycle Track at rear of Hotel and you can walk into Aberfoyle in about 20 minutes.. All in All this was a Hidden Gem and we would not hesitate to return.

Very attentive staff, thank you all but particular thanks to Melissa and Anne. Very nice food and moderately priced wines. Disabled room allocated (125) couldn't have been further from the amen, and the bathroom tiles need a good scrub! Wheelchair users may have difficulty accessing reception. Overall, it was a nice break for a reasonable charge.

An excellent hotel all round. Staff very friendly and helpful. My husband is on a special diet and they saw to his needs. In fact, as we were booking in, reception arranged for me to have a word with the chef. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. In fact, I slept soundly from our first night which is a rarity for me. Food was delicious for our breakfast and evening meal. The hotel is a popular destination for coach tours - there were three there when we stayed. However, they were in a separate dining room from other guests so there was no waiting for our meal.

Fabulous couple of days stay in the lovely Rob Roy Hotel. It was cosy clean and comfy. Perfect for our dog too, plenty grassy areas, trees and paths for her to investigate. We really appreciated being able to bring her with us into the bar for our evening meal. The food was gorgeous.

A large complex built on two floors, quit a long walk from some rooms to reception/bar/dining room. A lot of coaches call here, 3 during our visit, but well handled. Separate dining room for private guests and plenty of space. Good food, pleasant staff and clean rooms (bathroom a little small but adequet ). A pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Great stay here with my wife and adult son. Staff were helpful and friendly at all times. Bedrooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Ate in the restaurant which had a good selection of food, changed daily. Service was good and food was good quality. The hotel is a short while from Aberfoyle village, but there is a nice 1 mile track at the hotel which takes you to Aberfolyle avoiding roads. Altogether a good value stay and highly recommended for all tates.

Good value hotel. Staff friendly but seem under pressure - perhaps not enough staff members at what was a busy time. Have stayed before and would certainly return. Good setting in lovely area.

Lovely stay at the Rob Roy. Hotel was welcoming and with efficient check in was a delight to arrive .Rooms are bright and spacious and very clean.Best thing about this hotel is the food ...it's delicious and we definetly will stay here again .
