Return visit to hotel and return booking with Classic Britain. Very happy with hotel overall, staff very helpful, as has normally been the case. Used pool facilities which were ok. Booked a massage which was a fantastic experience and helped to sort out my back issues, well done Monica!

wonderful hotel. beautiful room with French doors onto a garden patio....lovely setting overlooking the golf course and the low hills. food was amazingly good...service was excellent...gym and swimming pool were lovely and the massage was wonderful. definitely stay there again and recommend it.

Myself and two of my fellow golfers arrived here on Tuesday evening and couldn't fault the place. The rooms were excellent, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The leisure facilities were second to none and the golf course was in excellent condition. We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Cardrona hotel and facilities to anyone.

We had an excellent stay. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our dinner was of a particularly high standard. A problem with our Spa booking was dealt with very effectively showing excellent customer service. Would visit again.

The bedroom was fine and so was the leisure facilities.The hotel was very busy the night we stayed over and we could only get a reservation for dinner at 9pm. Once seated we were given the menu after which we gave our order to the waiter.We waited half an hour for our starter.Dont know how long we waited for our meal.We ordered two glasses of red wine and two glasses of white wine were delivered.We sent them back.This happened twice.When we eventually got our meal it was cold.This was supposed to be an anniversary trip for my husband and I.We were not impresses by the service in this hotel and we felt our anniversary celebration was ruined by poor service.I will not be returning to this hotel in the near future.

We had an excellent weekend break at tis hotel. The service and staff friendliness were of a very high standard. The hotel is in a fantastic setting and our bedroom was very clean and well furnished. The only slight complaint was that on the Saturday night into Sunday morning there was a lot of noise from a function/wedding. The people leaving were very loud and I think some were staying in the hotel and there was a lot of noise in the corridor and outside. I do not blame the staff at all for this but perhaps it could have been dealt with quickly to stop complaint. I would recommend this hotel for future guests.

Lovely hotel situated in the beautiful Scottish Borders. Our spacious bedroom was well equipped with all mod cons and we had a lovely golf view. We were booked for DBB,evening meal was booked for 7.30pm dining room was very busy and service was very slow, same happened at breakfast, some people sitting for ages before hot food/tea or coffee order was taken. The service wouldn't put me off returning as everything else was perfect and good value for a midweek break.

Only downside service very slow at dinner. Took 2.5 hours for the meal. Mind you we were not going anywhere. Could have done with some form of entertainment.

In room 117, basement floor. Great room but view out of window spoiled by 3 blue trolleys directly in front of window (may have been laundry trolleys?). Suggest all trolleys and other possible obstructions along the lower path running beside lower front bedrooms be allocated an out of view space. Once again the room, the service and the food was first class.

Stayed here for my birthday and had a fantastic time.The staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed on a dinner bed and breakfast deal and weren't disappointed.The dinner on offer was fantastic.No faults at all , will definitely be back.Only one criticism was the spa had no jacuzzi which my wife likes other than that perfect. My wife had her nails French polished and I had the deep back and shoulder massage.Best I have ever had.Great place, stunning views .
