Lovely hotel, very welcoming staff. Dinner in restaurant excellent but had to ask reception if they could change their "Rap" music which was playing. Not ideal for a dining room!!! They obliged by asking their front of house to change what was playing.

Lovely hotel,all staff where friendly. The room was clean as was the rest of the hotel,and the gardens where well kept. Food was nice although they had been busy and had run out of some starters,however they replaced it with another. I would recommend this hotel . And thank you to classic britain again.

Had a lovely nights stay in the Gables Hotel, rooms were nice and spacious. Bar was comfortable and enjoyed our drinks. Three course meal was lovely, Scottish breakfast was a bit overdone but the omelette was delicious. Would definitely go back. Staff nice, polite and friendly.

During our stay at The Gables we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, although it was quite busy but the bar did not have someone available at all times, that would be my only criticism during our stay

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our only disappointment was the lengthy wait we had for our dinner to arrive. More staff required I think!

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Room was small but fine on the whole. Pillows and mattresses could do with replacing and hot water was dangerously hot! Best bit of our stay was definitely the food. The 3 course dinner was superb and a lovely plentiful breakfast too. At

Enjoyed our stay the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was first class Only problem we had was that our room was next to a fire door which was opened at 6am and 11pm by someone going out for smoking and had to bang the door on their return We did report this to staff on our checkout. Would be happy to stay there again

It is a pleasant hotel, have stayed before. however the room this time was in need of an upgrade. It was clean and adequate but very 1980's. food was ok chose beef with pie crust, beef plentiful but spoilt by awful aniseed flavouring rather bizarre. However these were only minor it is a nice hotel with friendly staff.

Fantastic hotel. Lovely spotlessly clean rooms with comfy beds. Food was fantastic and staff were brill. Loved the beer garden and the bar prices were great. Cant fault this hotel. Will definitely be back :-)

The Gables Hotel was very clean & the staff were very helpful & friendly! Especially the lovely bar maid!
