Really relaxing day n night on a BB deal with cream tea n various discounts attached. Perfect large room, great bar meal. Hotel busy but atmosphere calm and welcoming. Deffo be back having been many times before.

thouroughly enjoyed our stay here staff exellent rooms spotless our only gripe was we found our romm 129 too be a bit noisy through the night by the sound of a boiler from below or outside next !!

Stayed at the Barony castle Hotel five times. Once again enjoyed or stay and will be returning very soon. The only thing we thought could be improved was the quality of the food as my wife's evening meal was not very good.

This is our 3rd stay we always enjoy , but there us always little things wrong 1st time our shower didnt work and we had to use the shower in my daughters room 2nd stay we paid for an upgrade with coffee machine we got the machine late afternoon on last day of stay 3rd stay mug in room had large crack . Afew attentions to detail would make stay perfect

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but a couple of things weren't quite right. The towel heater and the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work (room 131). This was reported to reception who said they would get it attended to. When we went to the bar for dinner we ordered 2 drinks. Only one was brought to our table. We queried this and were told that the other one was on its way. We waited for about 15 minutes and I had to go to the bar and ask what had happened to it - they had forgotten!!!! Only one other small thing - the pool could have been a bit warmer. Overall a very enjoyable overnight stay and I would certainly return to the Barony Hotel and recommend it.

Enjoyed our 2nd stay at Barony Castle this year. Very clean,comfortable room. Staff friendly and helpful. Delicious food. Missed a walk outside this time after dinner as it was too dark and hotel sits within its own grounds so although the immediate grounds are well lit the surrounding area was a bit dark. We last visited in April. We will definitely visit again and recommend it to couples looking for a relaxing break away.

Great break unfortunately weather meant that we were unable to explore the 25 acres around the Hotel or use the free mountain bikes. However nice relaxing night with a good meal.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.Staff were friendly and helpful.One of our party was vegetarian and was accommodated with a separate menu.The only problem was the triple room was quite far from the lift and my aunt had a struggle to walk there as she is very elderly.All in all a lovely break

We stayed on the Sunday evening, check in was 2pm however we arrived at 12 noon. No problem, our room was not ready but we had a drink in the bar and the receptionist came over to tell us, it was now ready. The room was an upgrade and first impression was good. Four poster bed, comfy chairs, fridge with water, pop and juice (complimentary), desk with chair, double wardrobe and decent sized bathroom. Close examination revealed that the room was looking a little tired but this did not botehr us, in fact it added character to the room. The hotel itself was fantastic, staff brilliant, service very good and the food was amazing. I would definetly stay again as it was extremely good value for money.

Room was rather tired.Leisure club not really fit for purpose. Menu never changes and choices are limited. Staff very good.
