Had a great two day stay at the Cardrona. Things that are good about this Hotel are the leisure facilities, the food and the staff. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to speak to you and ensure all is well with your stay. Can't praise them enough. Also the Hotel is in a beautiful location with Peebles within a short distance for a walk. I would definitely return.

Very friendly staff, rooms nice but always cold when returning to it as heating only comes on once key has activated power!! Stayed 3 days and menu didn't change no daily special, vegetarian option limited to one dish!

Another good stay at Cardrona Hotel. However on the downside I would have to say that not all customers are non smokers and as such surely it would not be too much to ask that a hotel of this standard should provide some designated area for smokers (possibly with some form of heating) rather than have them simply left to stand outside at this time of the year.

I have stayed at Cardrona before and liked it , but this time I found the staff were more friendly and aiways smiling.the food was great and always hot. When they came to take your order they would refer to you by your name which I thought was a nice touch. I'm looking forward to my next stay there.

Everything was great except that our room was freezing on arrival and every time we can back to it. We were told that the heating only went on when the door key was put in a slot on the wall inside the door! Yet our friends who were in a room along the hall had heating on all the time and had lovely cozy room. There was nothing explaining that in the information file in the room it just said how to adjust the heating. I was very walking back from Peebles and it would have been so nice to arrive in a warm room ah well.......

stayed on Saturday 10/1/15. Hotel excellent. Staff excellent. Special mention to Lauren who organised a table at the bar for our meal and was really nice and friendly.Food menu could be doing with a bit more variety on it, but tasted great. Pool area was nice and has been updated since we were last there. Will be back again.

Only one wee criticism is that the lighting in the bedroom is not strong enough to read a book on bed.

What a fantastic Hotel, from the moment we walked into the hotel we were made welcome. The bar had all the right staff and drinks on offer and the service was outstanding. We had a lovely meal in the evening that was incredible followed by a few drinks in the bar that is warm and welcoming. Breakfast was to the same standard and definitely on my return list.

Check in was friendly and swift, room quite dated, fraid curtains, stained armchairs worn carpet. Very nice bathroom. breakfast buffet good, hot option on the small side. Good staff, hotel rooms in need of a little redecoration.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the room was very well kept, the service was good and the food was delightful. I felt that the deal of Dinner, bed and breakfast was very good and that we certainly got our monies worth. I would book again and definitely would recommend it to anyone.
