Clean, professional, excellent breakfast. Dinner in restaurant - 3 course ok for one night but no choice the second so ate in Bar which was fine. We put it down to the time of year. Staff very attentive.

As a vegetarian with special dietary needs my requests had already been noted before arrival. The chef went out of his way to create an individual menu for me- the first time I've had so much choice! All staff very helpful.

Staff very friendly and helpfully really enjoyed my break would definitely go back there i would also recommend this hotel to my friends and family very good valur for money

from the moment we arrived at the hotel to the moment we left the staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough for us. had a great 2 days at the hotel and the burns night celebrations was a great laugh thanks to everyone at the hotel we will be back

The only downside at the Gable's was the water pressure or lack of it when using the shower.

Would consider the hotel to be 3* rather than 4*. We stayed two nights and thought the breakfasts were good but were not so impressed with our evening meals, that said we were well looked after by Sarah and Tom which made our stay an enjoyable one.

Beautiful hotel, lovely setting. Good food perfect for any celebration. Room was warm and inviting. Overall a lovely break. Will definitely be going back.

We stayed at The Gables from 16th April for 4 nights. From booking in the staff could not have been more heplful and friendly. The food was excellent as were the rooms. Thank you to the Gables for a lovely stay. 5 Star
