Room large clean and very spacious , delighted. Poor choice at night for meals and the food at breakfast was really undercooked, however maybe that is down to my individual preference.

Lovely hotel. Great staff. Its Dog friendly and there were loads there but hotel was spotless clean. Staff are very helpful. Dinner was lovely. Only issue was breakfast. Its a hot buffet. Had a wait for fresh eggs and tea and coffee are in flasks which doesn't keep them warm enough for long enough. Should have a machine. Everything else was spot on.

Fantastic short stay at Riverside Lodge Hotel. Staff were fantastic and dinner was superb, breakfast was plentiful too. Our room (205) was perhaps a little tired looking but spacious and had all we needed. Unfortunately our view was onto the back gardens of the new housing estate.

Yet another great stay at The Riverside Lodge Hotel. Quick check in and allocated a very clean room which included Tea & Coffee along with our chosen wine. Friendly bar staff in nice surroundings. Lovely meal at night and good selection for breakfast. Will visit again.

Once again we had a lovely break ,meal and breakfast first class, room was comfortable clean , tv in lounge / bar area could have had better channels other than sky sport constantly playing .reception staff first class .

Had a lovely overnight stay at the Riverside Hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely. Plenty seating in the area just outside the restaurant. We requested a ground floor near reception because of mobility issues which was granted. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed one night on dbb including a bottle of wine on arrival best value i have ever had .The room had 2 double beds lovely bathroom with bath and shower which was of a very high standard.the evening meal was excellent good choices of starters mains and puddings would recommend going thete again. Can't mention individual staff but from arriving the receptionist right through to our breakfast staff 5 stars well done to whoever is training them a great asset to the hotel.robert erskine.M.B.e

Thanks for your review! You reviewed myhotelbreak.com Night and Day Visited this hotel at the weekend and stayed for two nights. We were delighted with the excellent package we got which included evening meal on the first night. It was so good we went back for more the second night. Price of package very competitive Rooms a very good size. All staff friendly and helpful. Hotel was a good base for visiting Irvine, Ayr and surrounding areas. However our experience was initially marred by a very poor Breakfast Experience. The hotel was full and when we arrived for breakfast most of the hot food trays were empty. It was evident they were short staffed and there was no system to refill trays of, what should have been, hot food. At the end of this meal we aired our concerns and while receiving apologies we underlined the impact it had had on our visit. I deliberately chose my title fir this review as the next morning it was like night and day. There was smile staff. They were organised, replenishing all food promptly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was much more positive and enjoyable for, I feel, staff and guests alike. Thank you for listening and acting on concerns and we will definitely visit again.

Fantastic deal. Lovely modern reception, bar and restaurant area. Food was excellent and staff very polite and helpful. Rooms were nice and had a hairdryer, kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits provided, iron and ironing board and basic toiletries. About 15 minute walk to the centre of Irvine. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Can’t rate high enough. Was surprised how nice hotel was. Food lovely. Room was spotless. But have to say the staff are exceptional. I have stayed in much more expensive hotels and never received anywhere near as good service. Will definitely be back. Would recommend to everyone

Live locally but decided to stay for our daughters birthday. The hotel is beautifully decorated. The double rooms are clean and have temperature control radiators which is a bonus to get the room nice and toasty. We stayed with our little dog also and unlike other hotels there was no additional charge for this. There is a dog friendly eating and seating area in the foyer. Dinner was excellent and fab choice to suit everyone on menu. Breakfast buffet had a wide choice the following morning also. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Fantastic hotel , Staff very friendly, food delicious ( fish and chips superb !!! ) . Rooms very clean, no complaints about anything, will definitely be back . Lovely warm fresh breakfast which is unusual for buffet style
