We(6 ladies) stayed 10 Dec and we cannot find fault with this hotel. Only gripe was we ordered coffee on arrival but by the time it was served it was cold.

My wife and I stayed for a two night break, 8th and 9th Nov. The only negative comment I could make about this hotel is that the lounge is adjacent to the entrance door and occasionally there would be a draft when someone entered, otherwise perfection. The hotel public areas are spick and span, some little redecoration was being done where it didn't seem to be needed! The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The food, both dinner and breakfast, was to an excellent standard and very much enjoyed. The staff are cheerful, friendly, helpful, and very welcoming; an asset to the hotel. Nothing else to say. It was most enjoyable and we will undoubtedly go back again in the New Year.

We loved our Cardrona stay, lovely Hotel and staff. Only disappointment was we asked to see the Dinner Menu , after 4.30 on all 3 nights, so we could decide if there was something we would like to have , but we were told the Chef had not provided the Menu yet. We would have loved to have had Dinner in the hotel on at least one night, but did not want to risk sitting at the table and seeing the Menu for the first time , only to discover we did not fancy anything that was on the Menu. So we had to eat out. But we would still stay at Cardrona again. It is lovely.

Excellent hotel in a beautiful location minutes from the town of Peebles. Well finished with excellent facilities. Friendly helpful staff, excellent food and modern rooms. Have stayed here many times before and will stay again.

We had our evening meal in the cocktail lounge. The quality of the food was not as good as some 3 star hotels recently visited, or as competitively priced.

Enjoyed our 2 day break, staff helpful. Food was excellent but portions quite small but was cooked to perfection. Service in the restaurant very slow the first night when we had our dinner but better the second night. Lovely breakfast & spoilt for choice with the selection on offer. Can't wait to return for another break and have some more Spa treatment it was fabulous !

We were give an executive golf view room which was excellent. Food was very good and all 4 of us had no complaints on our dinners and breakfasts, nice to get breakfast freshly cooked. Staff at the hotel were excellent. Informative, friendly and attentive, a credit to the hotel. Thanks for a lovely stay.

My husband and I came to the cardrona for a party night and over night stay with 3 other couples.we had an amazing night,staff were very helpful,food was lovely and the party night was great fun. As it was my 30th birthday we were upgraded to the executive suite at no extra cost which was lovely. Thanks for a great night away!

This hotel has been a long time favourite and the two nights visit was in the main great. Food was faultless as always and staff are really friendly. We have about 4 breaks here a year and have done so for the last decade and this is the first time I have ever come away with a complaint. We were disappointed that having been booked for a party night which ended at 1am the hotel thought it was ok for hoovering to start well the back of 8am on the Sunday, even though it advertsied the late night and breakfast till 10.30. As two mums of young children this was a special birthday break and the party night was to top off the weekend, however heading home more tired because we had less than 6 hours sleep slightly ruined what we a relaxing weekend and a present I had bought for my friend. It was also disappointing that when raising it with the hotel they did not think it was an issue that warrented any real action or response. The first supervisor I spoke to just told me to record it with reception and the receptionist was polite and apologised and asked if I wanted to speak to house keeping and when I was not clear why it was just left and not recorded as a complaint.

Comfortable hotel but in need of upgrading especially the public rooms They have started the bedrooms and look forward to seeing when they upgrade the dining room in particular . Staff very good and courteous will go back again.

Great overnight stay for our anniversary 19/11/2014 to 20/11/2014. Could not fault the hotel set in the beautiful borders countryside, stunning location. The staff were attentive and friendly, the room spacious and clean with lovely views and the food delicious. Just a pity we could not have stayed longer but it was back to work the next day.
