Beautiful hotel with immaculate beautifully decorated rooms. Staff were helpful and pleasant, the dinner menu had a great selection to choose from as was the breakfast menu. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a lovely stay at Glenskirlie Castle Hotel. The room was beautiful, stunning bed and quirky styling with the nice added touch of Molton Brown toiletries. The dinner was delicious but we were a little disappointed with breakfast. The coffee was unfortunately instant and not fresh, eggs were a bit overcooked, and no toast with the breakfast. However, all staff were extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. Enjoyable stay!

My daughter/ son and partners stayed for 1 night as part of a Xmas present we got them.The staff were lovely and very accommodating as I had to call a few times before about things.The food was also great they said.Only thing was the rooms and general ambience of the place.They said it reminded them of what a would look like.One room was called Sexy Rexy and they said there was a sunken sofa at reception.All in all they had a nice time but wouldn’t go back because of the decor.Lots of red and black

We had a really good stay loved the room it was so different to other hotels we have visited and added bonus was the big bath in the toilet food was lovely staff were nice only issue bar was left unattended inbetween service at restaurant and was quiet with no music on or the log fires weren't lit.

We had a lovely overnight stay and meal in the restaurant. Our room was spacious and well decorated. Loved the seating area where we sat and drank some wine. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The scrambled egg at breakfast was the nicest I’ve had anywhere. My only suggestion would be a small instruction card on how to work the heating in the room as it was not obvious on the panel.

My husband & I stayed here on a DBB deal. Hotel was lovely, decor was quirky & beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our evening meal & had a couple of drinks in the bar (drinks were pricey but it's what you'd expect in a hotel). The staff were really friendly & chatty. Although there was WiFi we couldn't get connected & had to rely on 4G

Lovely hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful, even embarking on a t for decaff tea for me! Food was tasty, gutted we were full after the main and didn't get a chance to try a desert. Room was beautifully decorated and clean.

Hotel was nice but floor tile in bathroom cracked in several pieces, not very good when you are in your bare feet. Two single beds but one double bed throw provided. Breakfast not good, you could have soled your shoes with the bacon it was overcooked and like leather.

Overnight stay with family group of four adults and two children. Hotel is stunning inside and out. Rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable with each room completely different. Drinks were surprisingly reasonably priced for a hotel of this standard. Food was tasty, well presented and plentiful, with our £20 per person allowance covering dinner. Will definitely return and have recommended to lots of friends.

This was a fantastic night away. The staff were amazing welcoming and could not do enough for you. The food was fantastic we had lunch and dinner it was so nice. Big portions and could not fault food at all. Special mention to Matthew who is an asset to the hotel. It was very quite but that suited us. A lovely stay.

This was the first time we had stayed at this hotel. We were very happy with the friendly welcome and the beautiful room we were given. The decor was quirky and unusual. We had dinner in the small part of the bar/restaurant, as there was a wedding going on. The food was fine but the atmosphere was missing, as we were the only guests eating. Breakfast was delicious and arrived quickly. There were a couple of things that we feel could make the experience even better. We weren’t told where we would be eating dinner and had to go ‘searching’ for how to get into the bar area. Since there was a wedding going on, we had to actually go outside and in by the other door - it was raining and very windy, not great. Also, the design of the taps on the bathroom basin were so difficult to operate, I struggled to get them to turn on and off. Anyone with arthritis would find them almost impossible. The decor, size and comfort of the room was excellent. The beds were extremely comfortable. Finding a socket to plug in the kettle was a challenge though. We loved the wooden shutters, which kept the room really dark. All in all it was a very good stay.

Absolutely had a fantastic time, we booked 6 rooms for a regular social get together, from checkin with the lovely lady to the breakfast next morning I would 100% recommend Glenskirlie - definitely one not to miss, food was fantastic although menu could be better

Couldn't have been better. Friendly, efficient, courteous staff. Food and service at dinner was superb, as was breakfast. Quirky room design was like nothing we'd seen before. Excellent in every respect.

We had a very nice stay at Glenskirlie Castle Hotel, our room was small but more than adequate, the television could have done with upgrading and did not have any of the catch-up features or Netflix, just a fundamental television. The breakfasts were excellent as were our evening meals, we were told that the hotel will be undergoing a makeover soon, and it really could do with it in certain areas, especially the dining room, as it lacks atmosphere and the furniture is well overdue upgrading. We found the staff to be very nice and helpful, all in all, enjoyed it and look forward to returning maybe next year.

We had such a wonderful week day stay, infact we had the restaurant to ourselves for dinner and breakfast ,waiting staff friendly and attentive. Our room was 106 ,quirky and unique. We will definitely be back ??

Lovely setting, lovely room, we had a lovely meal. Everything good until we retired to our room to be encountered with wedding disco directly below us. Floorboards were shaking, the smoking area was also directly under us. It did stop at midnight and it was very quiet after that. The evening meal was lovely and waitress was very good. The breakfast was unfortunately also disappointing the bacon was so tough could not cut it with a knife. Was so looking forward to a quiet night away. It did not happen, which is a shame
