Great value and the staff are always very pleasant. Only complaints are, on the first night, the room was cold and the heater was up full also the shower the next morning was cold! The shower should have a grab rail to hold onto as the shower tray is very slippery when wet. Otherwise the room (which appeared to be refurbished) was really nice and the bed very comfortable.

This was our second time at the King Robert, can't complain about the place maybe needs a face lift on the decor. But apart from that if your looking for good value this is the place two nights stay bed and breakfast and evening meals for two nights £230 for a couple, and a bottle of wine awaiting you in your room on arrival, Food very good and breakfast was lovely staff very kind thumbs up for me?

Fantastic stay made even better by the staff who were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and great view of the Bannockburn battlefield. Food was of good quality cooked well and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Location of the hotel was great for the Bannockburn battlefield as it is next door, a nice walk into Stirling takes about 30/40 mins, loads of parking on site, the hotel itself is nice and clean, very comfortable beds and absolutely fantastic staff, couldn’t have felt more at home, welcomed by everyone and the service from the staff was second to none, food was absolutely amazing too, had a wonderful evening meal both nights with my steak cooked perfectly both times and the cooked buffet breakfast was worth the visit on its own, can’t wait to come back and get myself booked in for a tribute night, thank you all and can’t wait to see you all again soon.

Just home from a lovely night away at the King Robert Hotel, Bannockburn. The room was spacious and immaculate and the food and service was excellent. There was a quiz and karaoke after dinner, which we didn’t expect! Can highly recommend and will deffo go back! The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in a hotel. All the ingredients were fresh and so tasty.

From the moment we arrived until we left we had a lovely time. The big asset if this hotel is it's staff who were all very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, both evening meals and breakfast. We had a small issue with original room and without question were given a new room. Would definitely return.

Very pleasant stay, but a bit of misunderstanding at reception on price! and complimentary bottle of wine, unfortunately I had archived the email so could not check but I did remember the exact price? and wine, so all sorted. I recommend any other customers to keep the email of booking LOL Everything else was great including food.

A great night at the entertainment break, Elton John/Neil Diamond. A lovely hot meal, a minor mcle by the kitchen staff with so many people, so well presented and tasty. We had six in our party so three rooms, all comfortable and all clean. Breakfast was great, good selection, all hot food was actually hot and still plenty there right up until finishing time. All the staff we had dealings with were polite, welcoming and helpful, you couldn’t ask for more. Very pleased and we will do it again.

We had a nice few nights at King Robert but would not return as the bed was so small certainly not a king size and didn’t even seem like a double. Room was 201. Don’t remember the bed being so small on our last visit in different room a few years ago. Room very small too. Staff great and meals lovely and great portions too. Room although small was very clean and nice bathroom with shower. Plenty parking spaces too and handy for visiting the castle.
