Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The hotel is in the most lovely setting looking out over Loch Linnhe. We had a loch side view bedroom which had a stunning view. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and can't do enough for you. The place is full of character especially the old staircase which creaks very loudly. There are so many places of interest to visit while in this area. We will most definitely return in the not too distant future as we loved it.

Room was tired but we did have our dog with us so probably did not get the best one.Evening Menu was restrictive and unfortunately most of the meals served were not very warm.Buffet Breakfast, on the other hand was good with a great selection.

Hotel was fine and food in the restaurant was great. Would have no hesitation in staying here again. Staff were pleasant and polite.

Good hotel, good room. Staff very helpful and good food. Just as we'd expected, we have stayed several times before.

Third time staying here and as always wasnt dissappointed. Girl on reception and one of the waiters recognised us which was lovely. Hotel is full of character and has an idealic setting with beautiful views. Great value for money and food is excellent. Rooms are very clean.

We had a very pleasant stay, although a little disappointed in the room, as it had no outlook. The staff were extremely efficient and helpful on all aspects of our stay. The only negative was the amount of dogs in the hotel, my wife is not comfortable with dogs and she normally requests per free environments when booking short breaks. Unfortunately I booked this break and I failed to check this. That aside we thouroughly enjoyed our short stay, the food was of a good quality and the bar prices we quite good also.

The hotel is set in a stunning location. Very helpful friendly staff, room was ok in general, very clean, as was the rest of the hotel, but the bed was too soft for my comfort.

we love the hotel and like most of the redecorating. we were disappointed to find that signage was still non-existent on toilet doors etc 6 weeks after our last visit. also we reported a shower cubicle door hanging on one of two rollers the problem was not repaired despite our stated concern that the heavy glass shower door could fall off and smash.

Love staying at the Ballachulish...its old and quaint with lots of character. Our room on this occasion was the upgrade with loch view and it was worth it, the view is stunning. Room comfortable and clean. Dinner was included and it was lovely, staff were helpful.

we should have been informed that there was a wedding on when we booked as we go away for a rest after the hectic Christmas period. We were restricted to use lounges and found it difficult to get seating after dinner.

Great value dbb deal which also included drinks per night. Couldn't fault the portions and quality of food. Nice wee lochview room too. My only gripe was that the hotel receives dogs and the room next door had 2 which howled and barked on occasion. I understand this is becoming more the norm nowadays for hotels to accept animals but personally find this unacceptable as not having animals ourselves are more often being subjected to animal hairs on clothes etc.Not good practice for hotels (please note).

A favourite choiuce for us. Magnificent Loch Linnhe (twice we have had a room (123 & 226) overlooking the loch), & Glen Coe just up the road. Food, food presentation & resturant service was improved since last year?

This was my third visit, the last time was 3 years ago. Sadly since our last visit the hotel has deteriorated not only does it need an overhaul it could also do with a really good clean. The food menu is if anything mediocre, the choice is very limited. Such a shame as I used to love this hotel.

The Ballachulish Hotel is set in the most scenic position. We have stayed here before and both times can't fault it.

Friendly staff, food nice, family room was spacious. Shame the wardrobe was not usable as it had a very bad smell. Back wall and ceiling above had water damage which seemed to be the culprit. No blind in the bathroom and guests on other side of the hotel could see right in. We had to hang a towel across the window to prevent this. Service slow and food bill wrongly overcharged.

The hotel was clean and spacious but decor was a little tired. Our family room was comfortable and well appointed with Double and single beds and a settee which converts to a bed. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious although the dinner menu was somewhat limited.

Just returned from a 2 night break and had a really lovely time. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. Hotel tiny bit tired but would not deter us from returning.
