The room was absolutely lovely, the staff are kind courteous, there was a wedding on the night we stayed there was no noise slept well, the only complaint is that asked the waitress for ketchup at dinner and am afraid am still waiting, you can't have everything!

Hotel is lovely. Beautiful location with views over water. Rooms are spacious with table and chairs to sit looking out over water. Food was lovely. Great deal, DBB and bottle of wine for £150 per couple. Fantastic value.

My husband and I were here for an overnight a few days ago. We found the hotel very nice and welcoming and the staff friendly. Loved that dogs were allowed in the hotel - if you're not a dog lover, this is not the place for you as there are a lot of them around, although they do have dog free areas. The room was amazing - great size and lovely views of the hills at the front of the hotel. The only downside of our stay was the food. Unfortunately the dinner was not impressive at all - very average for a prestigious hotel. The dinner was adequate - y chicken for me which was tiny and steak pie for my husband who said it was nothing special. The breakfast was a buffet style with continental and traditional "hot" food - I use the term "hot" very loosely as it certainly was not. Although the food was of very good quality it was just not hot. This was very disappointing as this is always a big part of the break away.

The Waterside hotel is amazing. Our room was deluxe one with juliet balcony overlooking the lovely gardens and the beach beyond. It was an absolute delight to sit in the afternoon sun sipping our wine. The room was large, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, and had a hairdryer, iron and board. The bathroom was very new and modern with a fabulous shower and jacuzzi bath. Evening dinner was plentiful and delicious. Lovely lounge and bar area. Friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely recommend staying in this little gem.

Hotel is in an excellent location by the sea. We had a sea view dog friendly room as requested. Dog beds & bowels supplied in the room. Staff were very attentive. Food was well presented and tasty. Only let down was the TV in the room had a poor signal.

The Waterside Hotel is a very nice modern establishment, staff friendly, good food and excellent rooms. The only downside is we were in a room at the front of the hotel and the noise from the main road meant we were wakened early. If booking again, I would request a seview room which might help.

We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms (403) which was spacious, scrupulously clean and decorated to a very high standard (loved the orange, rattan lobster above the bed) The layout was carefully considered, with all the plugs in the right places ? Food delicious and staff attentive. A fantastic deal and we’ll definitely be back ?

Had an overnight in 1 of the brand new rooms. Just beautiful. The small patio,the bathroom , everything was gorgeous. Super comfy bed. Staff were so friendly. Food was amazing .cant wait to go back.

What a beautiful hotel location is stunning food and service were Excellant got on of the superior sea view room on the lower level was well worth the extra lovel double doors lead out to a patio with table and chairs would highly recommend will be back for another visit very soon

Excellent hotel. Very good all round. My only comment is that the music in the dining room is too loud. I will return in 2026

The Waterside hotel is set in an ideal location. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food was amazing. My one suggestion for improvement would be to heat the plates for serving breakfast.

Fantastic stay at the waterside hotel , never had a bad experience staying here food is excellent, rooms are spacious and nicely decorated and spotless .the staff in the hotel are fantastic, can't do enough to make your stay memorable, the staff deserve a pay rise for all there hard work ,a credit to the company ? ?.we stay here as it's pet friendly and our dog is always welcome ??????????

Fab trip to the Waterside. Hotel is lovely. Great room overlooking the beach. Dinner was really enjoyable with a good choice and ideal portions. Brilliant hotel. Would definitely recommend.
