We stayed just one night and wished it could have been more. The location was very good, just a few minutes to the town centre. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Our room and bed was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals that we had. We hope to return soon.

Pretty quick check in. Nice room on first floor, just no view ( did request high floor but was late in booking ) Room had everything you needed just no biscuits. We had 3 course evening meal which was nice. Breakfast just needed filling up, but it was still good. Very good location and parking too. Our first time to Durham, we would go back if there again.

The hotel, location, staff was fantastic. Dinners were disappointing, especially the second night. Ordered the burger and chips, couldn’t eat it, the meat was grisly and fatty. The waiter offered me something else, but it was so bad it put me off my dinner.

clean and modern hotel.friendly staff and value for money.Only fault was the noise of room firedoors slamming shut this could be reduced if guests were asked to hold the door as it closes or fit a soft closing device.

Enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff. Food was good but could do with more choice on dinner menu. We stayed 4 nights and were struggling to find something different each night. Breakfast was excellent. Location of hotel also excellent.

We were greeted by a friendly and very professional reception service, the room was clean and extremely well appointed, the view from the window was wonderful. Breakfast was lovely and the waiting staff again friendly and professional the food was well presented and very tasty. We were staying on half board basis and ended up eating a very lovely a la carte meal because we were not offered the table d'hote menu. However the reception staff sorted out the problem efficiently. A lovely night and morning.
