Great overnight stay. Food so good and beautifully presented. Staff so helpful and friendly . It appears to be such a happy team Lovely new decor in dining room, bar area and reception. Room good and there is currently a plan being implemented of upgrading bedrooms Outdoor area would be lovely to sit out in the summer Hotel near beach, harbour and shops

We had a fantastic time at the hotel, the Tribute act were amazing but DJ was not the best, The food is fantastic and would recommend to anybody to eat there. The only disappointment for us was the fact there is no entertainment or even background music in the bar area , being encouraged to stay in the hotel for a second night yet no entertainment for the bar area is not so good. Overall we enjoyed the hotel and would return for another Tribute night but probably not for a second night.

Hotel is beautiful. Rooms: bit warm, beds not too comfy, ticking noise every so often in the room even throughout the night. Food was lovely!

Wonderful stay. Food delicious and plentiful. Never tried potato scone natchos before but will deff have them again. So tasty! ? Staff very friendly and helpful. Room furniture could do with a refurb. Room was spotless.

Room was nice but carpet not hoovered well a button under tge dressing table and crumbs on the flloor also a childs plastic bangle in the bedside drawer and a small tile with a large hole in batheoom towel

Stayed here for the second time this year for a relaxing getaway, reception staff were lovey and check in was quick and easy. Our room was lovely, spotless and comfy bed. The best part was the food, restaurant staff are so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! I am sure this won’t be our last stay!

Second overnight stay at Riverside Lodge with two course meal and breakfast included. Enjoyable stay. Evening meal was lovely and self-service breakfast had lots of choice and was more than adequate. Staff were friendly and attentive. Reception, bar and sitting area are all quite modern but room a wee bit tired though clean and warm. Probably be back if similar overnight deal on as good value.

2nd visit to the hotel rooms nice clean and tidy comfortable and was given bottom floor due to mobility issues ( didn't expect the massive metal skip which was right outside the bedroom window though) food staff fab as usual will return excellent value for money

Stayed one night immediately followed by 3 nights. Hotel is a genuine 4 star and very smart. A few items need a bit of maintenance (e.g. stiff shower valve). Two course dinner is a limited selection of the menu on the web page but is very good. Staff from housekeeping to reception are all excellent.

My wife and I had a very nice break at the riverside lodge, the food was nice and plenty of it. I was really impressed with the soup sweet potato and red pepper something I intend making sometime in the near future.
