Riverside Lodge Hotel, Irvine

Just back from the Riverside Lodge Hotel Irvine the room was immaculate tea coffee there for arrival room was spacious, We had dinner on both nights and it was very good and lovely Breakfast each morning, the staff were all very pleasant and did there best to make sure u had everything u needed will definitely be back.

Friendly staff, amazing food. Couldn't fault it. First time there and as my friend has mobility problems we will request a room nearer reception next time. We were right at the end of a very long corridor!

Hi we just stayed at the Riverside Lodge Hotel last Sunday for one night, and we have stayed here twice before and we really enjoyed our stay that’s why we came a third time, our room was very clean and comfortable good size too, we had a drink at the bar and the atmosphere was great as there was a lot of people here we were enjoying talking to some of the people which was great, and we went back our room to freshen up for dinner again it was delicious can’t fault anything it was so good, went back our room well stuffed had a drink and later went to bed but unfortunately I had a panic attack which wasn’t very nice and because we only had patio door for me to get fresh air was great but couldn’t keep the door open all night so I went to the reception and Clair who was on the desk was very understanding and she moved us to our old that we had twice before which had window so I could leave it open all night, but my panic attack did not get any better and we had to go home again Clair was very nice and understood my problem, but it won’t put us off going back there as we love this hotel and the staff, again a big thank you to Clair for helping me and the night porter Tom as I thought I had left my phone in one of these rooms and went and had a good look for me and phoned me back to tell me that he could not find it, but I had found it under my driver’s seat it mus t have fell out of my jacket pocket. Stayed overnight with my husband DBB. It was a good stay. The room itself was pleasant and could tell that it had not long been decorated. The only downfall was that I didn’t find the bed very comfortable but thats my own issue and nothing to do with the hotel. The bedding and covers were warm and comfortable enough though. The food was delicious and even though it was busy I felt that we did not wait too long for our food and the waitress apologised for the wait but it wasn’t that long of a wait to be honest. The breakfast in the morning was lovely too and had plenty of options to choose from. The only negative comment i would say is that the doors to the rooms bang too loud and you can hear other guest leaving and entering their rooms which happened a lot in the middle of the night. I understand these doors are heavy fire doors for safety but i have stayed in hotels when they close without them having to be banged. You can hear it all up and down the corridors. Overall though it was great value for money and would stay again in the future.

Food was amazing! service was good also . Rooms still dated and seem to be taking ages (years) to catch up with the main part of the hotel which is lovely. Room good although our room wasn’t seen to on out second day but reception staff extremely apologetic and lovely and gifted a box of chocolates which was lovely.

Hotel was great, looked like new carpets being put down in rooms so upgrading being done.land around the hotel has new houses & our room looked right into people's back garden.

Stayed at the Riverside Lodge for the 3rd time and was not disappointed food great value and perfectly cooked, staff were very friendly. They are refurbishing the rooms at the moment but it didn't interfere with our stay.

Room was a bit dated on the top floor with no lift access, quiet room but could hear people in the corridor. Food was good as was breakfast ? service overall was good friendly staff.

Second time we have stayed here within a few months.Excellent hotel,staff very helpful and friendly. Dinner excellent and fantastic breakfast. Shame there isn't leisure facilities although that won't put my wife and I staying again.

This is clearly a pet friendly hotel but I did not like how the pets were allowed to sit on the furniture in the reception area. There was a strong smell of dog in the main hall area which was not very nice. Staff were friendly, food was nice and our room was clean.

Very good hotel,good value for money if you have a myhotelbreak deal.Only negative is dogs not allowed in room on their own which made breakfast very awkward because they are not allowed in Restaurant.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and pleasantly surprised considering its location. On entering the hotel it had the Wow factor! Beautiful bar and reception. We booked a Sunday saver break very cheaply and were given an upgrade to a very large family room on ground floor. Beautifully presented room with separate shower/toilet facilities and washroom. Very clean throughout! Only thing I would point out to hotel is skirting boards might need replaced in both bathroom areas to match room ones and floor tiling needs grouting in both areas, as bit rundown and lots missing. Food and service amazing! Very friendly staff. Overall a fantastic hotel and will return again!! Would highly recommend.

Hotel was fine. We understood that the cost of the night was reasonable, but got to say the bed in room 203 was the worst bed I have slept on in a long time, the mattress was like sleeping on a jelly with springs. As soon as we walked in the room we noticed the mattress was showing signs of collapse, really needs changed, meal at night was fine. But breakfast was a bit of a disaster , bacon I think had been boiled and not fried. Toast was like hot bread, tea was like dishwater, I thought I would try a coffee and it was actually worse than the tea. Staff were very nice , but don’t think we will rush back.

Had a very pleasant 2 night break. Our room was upgraded so we had plenty of space. Meal first night was excellent as was breakfast both mornings. Very clean throughout and staff were friendly and helpful.

Another amazing stay at Riverside. Food on point... staff so helpful. Room perfect and clean. Even managed to crash Cheryl's wedding . What a great place. Back soon for sure! ?????
