My husband and I have a great time at The Riverside Lodge Hotel, staff are excellent, check in was easy, room was immaculate and all public areas are spotless. We had dinner two nights food was delicious as was breakfast great choice and piping hot. Would highly recommend, looking forward to going back.

Good value for money. We are return visitors, on this occasion our room was not up to previous standards however I was told room was due to be upgraded. Will return again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was excellent, and the restaurant was excellent very good menu, and again the staff were excellent, would highly recommend this hotel, we are booked to go back for our anniversary.

What a fab overnight in Riverside.Food was lovely.Bar area all renovated,lovely area for sitting out.Staff lovely.Recommend,great value too.10/10.

Lovely stay at the Riverside Lodge. Food was of a high standard the only thing was the cooked breakfast could have been warmer. I would recommend a stay here and is well located to get to other towns and cities

Hotel is nice, staff were great and the food was really good. A couple of things really spoiled the weekend. Asked for white wine for the room got Rose and was told no white wine available. This was obs the cheaper white wine they put in rooms as I was able to hsve white wine with dinner. Disappointing. The room itself was a great size, spacious and comfy but the cleanliness let it down. Dust on the table lamps, glasses dirty I had to wash them before use. Didn't use the kettle as the filter was really dirty, crumbs down the sides of the chairs and the rims round the taps in the bathroom were filthy. This really tarred what should have been a nice visit.

Hotel was clean and tidy, the meal was average and the breakfast was ok but you had to wait for the toast and when asked about the bread and croissant they answer was unfortunately there is none left, very poor continental breakfast selection

Hotel was lovely service and food excellent very relaxing hotel. Rooms were lovely, breakfast was buffet style but hot and fresh even though restaurant was very busy due to there being a wedding the night before which we didn’t hear at all. Lovely area outside to sit and have a coffee or drink. Will definitely go back and recommend to others

Very clean hotel, staff are young but very polite and attentive and the food is excellent. This is our second time at this hotel and we will return. Only thing I find odd is that there is only one bedside table in the rooms. Recommend.

We had a great stay at the hotel lovely big room and doors that opened out to the garden complete with table and chairs as it was a beautiful day it was nice to sit outside, we had a great sleep nice comfy bed staff were all lovely as was the food the only downside was the waiting time in the restaurant I think that was down to the kitchen not the waiting staff we gave up on dessert as it was taking so long, breakfast was lovely would definitely go back as I think it has just been too busy as they also had a wedding on and waiting staff apologised for our wait looking forward to booking again.

Everywhere in the hotel was spotless, I was in room 211, the room was spotless bed was comfy, but the room didn't represent the rest of the hotel, I felt it was a bit dated, although it wouldn't stop me from staying in the same room again. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, food was lovely, and for the drinks they were priced well too. We will definitely be back, and at the price I paid was amazing.

Had a great wee overnight stay at this hotel. Modern hotel. We had a table looking onto garden in the restaurant for our evening meal which was nice. Food was very good. Rooms were comfortable but would have loved a garden room. Was really warm in room but there was a fan which sorted that. Great shower which is unusual in some hotels. Went later for breakfast and had to ask them to bring some breakfast items which they did quickly. Would recommend this hotel but need a car due to location.

We had a great stay at the hotel. Rooms were immaculately clean although our bathroom was a little dated. The hotel reception area, bar and restaurant was very modern perhaps it’s time to look at the rooms. Our stay was excellent value for money, the staff were fabulous and were very accommodating. The restaurant food was delicious with a great choice, even on our first night which was included in our special deal. The buffet breakfast was basic but again plenty of choice, we asked for poached eggs which weren’t in the service tray but it was no problem to get them made to order. All in all a lovely visit and we will be back.

a nice night was had, lovely meal, buffet breakfast(could have been warmer). lovely staff and a comfy bed. bottle of wine in room only allowed to be drunk in room, wasn’t an issue for me, but just so other travellers know.

Hotel is lovely, room was a bit dated and curtains ripped. Food was lovely but waitresses didn't know what tables, food was to go too so dinner took quite a while to reach us as tried to give it to other tables first. Would stay again though
