We booked a last minute break here and so glad we did! From the moment we pulled up in front of the impressive building till the moment we had to leave this was a break to remember. Friendly efficient check in with lovely staff, a beautifully quirky room (Cupid), atmospheric bar and restaurant all added to the pleasure. Sitting outside on the terrace with a drink in the sunshine it was hard to believe we were so close to Glasgow. Dinner on both evenings was superb with excellent service as was breakfast both mornings. We will definitely be back!!!

We had a lovely stay here for our anniversary. Staff were welcoming and efficient. The room was nicely decorated, and very comfortable bed. Our evening meal was very good. Plenty to choose from. Hubby had the full breakfast which he enjoyed. I had French toast with syrup & bacon, delicious.

Myself and my husband had the most wonderful stay on the 5th August for our 22nd wedding anniversary. The moment you walk in you had the WOW factor, the reception area is beautiful and inviting. The reception staff were very inviting and took great care in making sure you had the perfect stay. The room was spectacular and more than we could have hoped for!! It was very luxurious and one of the best rooms we have stayed in. The meals were very nice also. We will most definitely return again as just the perfect night away.

Lovely midweek break away (August 24). The rooms are quirky, and with it being such a small hotel (15 rooms) it was really quiet and peaceful - exactly what we were looking for! We were on a DB&B break and the food was really good both evenings. The breakfast (loads of choice) was great on the first morning, but not so great second morning… maybe different cook, or they were just in a hurry to get away ? The location is great for nipping into Glasgow, The Kelpies / Stirling or simply enjoy the hotel and have a walk along the canal opposite. There are small, lovely gardens and weather permitting you can have a drink on the terrace outside the restaurant. Staff were nice and friendly. All good. Will be back ?

Hotel is lovely and our room was very unique the food was fine but we felt that the menu was not as special as the hotel rather a usual menu for a pub but we were hoping for something a little different breakfast was good

Staff were all exceptional and eager to make us feel welcomed. The rooms were unique and a pleasant environment, and all clean. The very large wooden bed creaked when one adjusted position during the night which became a bit irritating as it interrupted our sleep. Lovely big bath and good shower, underfloor heating and ambient lighting. Food was good enough but our mains course would have benefitted from a slightly higher temperature to better crisp the batter on the fish goujons; the star was the the side platter of garlic mushrooms! Breakfast was very good with staff ensuring we were coffee'd up. A pleasant overnight stay and a few minor issues easily remedied!

Beautiful room but no air con so it was very warm. Fortunately the windows opened. Helpful staff. Food was good but the breakfast buffet could have been better stocked.

We had a lovely time at Glenskirlie castle. The suite was absolutely incredible. The meal was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. I would recommend to others and definitely visit again.

Spent 2 nights at this hotel. Room decor was lovely. The room was spotless, bed very comfortable. Ensuite stylish and spotless. All staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was hot and delicious. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a couple of nights away.
