Great visit. No issues whatsoever. Staff brilliant! Great selection at breakfast - 7 mornings - different selection each day. Lovely evening meals - reasonably priced. Drink not extortionate like other hotels. Room servicing fantastic!

We had another pleasant stay at this Hotel. Staff friendly , room was very good and food was good. Excellent base to travel into Edinburgh as bus stops right outside Hotel .

Stayed here way my partner for 2 days the hotel was lovely..staff were amazing food was delicious and room was perfect lovely views ...you can take a walk down the hill way shops restrant pubs ..or take a taxie into edinghbrugh town only 15 so we'll worth it ...do the markets ..will defo be back at this hotel ??

Clean,warm and comfortable with well appointed room.(Ours had the tea/coffee tray on a unit, under the sloping ceiling, and housed a sink with a tall tap enabling the kettle to be kept upright when being filled.)The bathroom was a good size with a great shower over the bath and an armchair in the window recess. The staff were friendly,welcoming and helpful. There was no lift which might be a problem for some if room on second floor.

Windows were noisy - rattled in the wind. The mattress was not comfortable it was a bit lumpy. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Would stay again but not in room 415.

Hotel was lovely, room very well fitted. Some confusion regarding dinner allowance as told on check-in we were on 2 course deal , then in the menu said 2 course allowance guests would get £18.50 p.p. and charged for anything over that amount. As average price for Mains was £14-£18 it didn’t cover two courses. On check-out we were told it covered any two courses, had we known this we would possibly have chosen differently. Overall we really enjoyed our break, if we return will confirm meal allowance on arrival.

arrived a wee bit early but our rooms were ready, so we were allowed in.Receptionist very welcoming and helpful, pointing us in the direction of the bus stop and telling us what number bus for the city.Room lovely and clean with a big comfortable bed and a huge bathroom.As we were on the top floor we had spectacular views across the hills to the city and across the Forth to Fife.We had asked for a late checkout on Sunday as we were running the Men's 10K, and the hotel accommodated us in this, allowing us to depart at 12:30.I also left my signet ring in the room and this has been forwarded on to me

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Braid Hills hotel recently. Staff were friendly, food was very good. Room was nice, nice decor. and had everything we needed. It is a very nice hotel in an ideal location. We had a lovely view from out bedroom looking over Edinburgh. It also has a nice comfortable lounge area for just unwinding

About fifth time at this hotel , of course with My hotel break; service always good , only niggle is with menus which should be altered more often and perhaps daily specials could be introduced,6 in our party agreed menu was only letdown in a three day stay , we actually ate out two of the nights.. In the hotels favour we were allocated deluxe rooms which were excellent .

Had a great stay at this hotel for our friend's surprise 60th birthday. The hotel staff were very professional, the food amazing and the front of house staff very good in decorating our table and bring out the birthday cake. we all had a lovely walk around the park after breakfast the next morning. Our friend loved every minute of it. I cannot thank the hotel staff enough for what was the most enjoyable overnight stay I have had in a long time. Cannot find fault with anything. Simply perfect.

Rroom allocated was.very spacious, well appointed with a delightful view over park area.. Staff in hotel very professional, friendly and helpful. Food in dining room was of a high standard and most enjoyable. Thoroughly enjoyed my 3 day stay here and will return in the future. A big bonus for me as an OAP was the bus stop next to hotel which made travelling into Edinburgh very relaxed - no driving in a strange town looking for parking. Also it is very easy to get to Ocean Terminal to see Royal Yacht Britannia.

Our stay was great from the start, we were given a room in the annexe, I was not so pleased to be told this, however the room was lovely, large, clean and comfortable. A huge clean bathroom. We had a 3 course dinner in our package, this actually meant we had 25 pounds each to spend in the restaurant, this was absolutely fine, I need not have worried. The food was nice, good service. The main thing both in the hotel and around Edinburgh was the lovely friendly people. I would reccommend this hotel it is only 15 minutes away from Edinburgh by taxi, also a good bus service outside the hotel.

Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to help. The location is great particularly the view from the terrace from which you get a great view across the city and great sunsets. Rooms were very clean and a great size. A really great and cost effective alternative to staying in the city centre.

Hotel is in a fabulous location with a great bus service outside hotel straight into Princes Street.The hotel room was lovely and immaculate,the only downside was that the ladies public toilet was at the bottom of a narrow staircase from our room and the noise was a bit of a pain with doors banging late at night.The staff are very professional,polite,and helpful .Will not hesitate in going back to this hotel
