Absolutely amazing hotel . We had a great stay food was great . Staff great only downside was serving hot food at breakfast was a bit slapdash regarding presentation of food on plate . We were returning guests and delivery be back again . Beds & bedding very comfortable & super fluffy towels ???

Lovely hotel, staff were very nice and helpful, giving us ideas on places to visit in the area. Food was very nice, we had to book a late breakfast on our first day due to no earlier time slots available, I felt it wasn’t very well presented, tasted good but …… breakfast the next day was superb

Lovely location Nice rooms with balcony Had to move rooms as bed not accessible Moved to another room no problem sticky efficiently Much better new comfortable bed and mattress Staff lovely very helpful friendly Two night meal in restaurant food fab. Took wine off bill as part oer booked Second night service very frantic, disorganised but food again delicious Breakfast buffet lovely lots choice Lovely gardens and lake.woodland River cruise in Shrewsbury a delight

Lovely hotel at foot of the Wrekin. Check in was quick and efficient, room was on first floor but due to floor levels we went up and down to find it! Room overlooked the duck pond and fields and had sun in the afternoon. Was comfortable and clean, only issue was water pipes! Took toilet long time to refill and shower had tendency to blow hot and cold! Restaurant and bar areas were fine, food choices were good and breakfast was buffet style All in all excellent value for money and an enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend as a base for Shropshire exploration

A lovely tranquil hotel ideal place to get away from it all. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast and evening meal was nice. This is a hidden gem will definitely return.

Enjoyed our stay at The Buckatree Hotel. The evening meal choices were good and what we chose was served hot and delicious. The breakfast arrangements were good. Served buffet style. Plenty to choose from. Would return to this hotel. Value for money.

Staff were excellent, hotel was clean and tidy, food was of a good standard, only fault room not cleaned on Saturday so towels were wet from Friday night shower, would definitely recommend

We had a lovely stay everthing was perfect, except the TV which kept going off when ever you walked round the room it said no signal, we did report but nothing happened, we also to manager on our way out to ho home, so hopefully it's been sorted.

Had a pleasant stay. Lovely garden, comfortable bed and met with a warm welcome from Matthew on reception. Martin in the restaurant was very helpful to. Our double room had a small balcony which overlooked the carpark. Not so good was the breakfast organisation. We had to pre book a time but due to there being mainly 1 person serving the food it was slow. Also not changing the menu at dinner for the 2 nights we were there.

Lovely stay, staff very welcoming. Food excellent the chap in charge on the Monday was very attentive, friendly. Food was excellent. Only dropped points on service because no room service for second day, coffee tea not topped up bed not made, mainly due to covid.

Excellent hotel, staff very friendly. We had a lovely first floor twin room with balcony looking over the lawn. (53) Food was very good. Drinks a bit pricey with no where else to go unless you drive
